IL2BAT, are you serious?? If I'm dating a man who says he loves me (forever) and he's . . . doing what with his ex-wife and kids? Going to ball games? Going to school plays? Having pizza? (Please specify.) At any rate, this is outrageous. It's one thing for a child to have a school event and for both parents to show up (separately) in support of their child (and he loves you forever but . . . you ain't invited??) But it's quite another for him to be off cavorting with his ex-wife and children (like a family, for Pete's sake) with you nowhere around. I'd slam a lid on that faster than he could think up a reason!
As someone mentioned on the other thread, yes, he will always be connected to his ex-wife through his children, but that doesn't mean they have to operate as a unit, especially to the exclusion of you. And, yes, Virgos may be strongly oriented toward their families but that's just it. THEY AREN'T A FAMILY ANYMORE. The "ex"-factor sort of takes care of all that quite automatically. I'd be highly suspicious and wanting some answers PDQ. In fact, I'd want a lot more than mere answers. I suspect (a) he's either sleeping with her, (b) she's very controlling and still has him wrapped around her finger and he doesn't want her to know about you because he fears consequences, (c) he's still emotionally attached to her/the whole "family" thing, or (d) any number of reasons, none of which I would accept as valid.

.... if it's mechanical skill and mental structure you lack, simply open the quote in a new tab and you don't have to "go back and read," get thoughts "in order," or copy anything. (What's to copy if you're quoting? 😕) And I repeat, nobody in his right mind bothers reading all those long re-posts to start with, so they're entirely superfluous (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/superfluous) and aggravating.

I've done this before. It's nothing new. But for the love of Pete, when you're referring to something someone posted before and their post was 3 city blocks long, why do some of you insist on quoting the entire post? And to make matters worse, 3 or 4 other people want to remark on it and, for some unknown reason that we Virgos simply can't comprehend, THEY all feel the need to repost and repost these city block quotes. One after another. The SAME long posts.
Why not just copy and paste the actual part you want to refer to? Or when quoting, why not delete the sentences (or paragraphs!) that need not be repeated over and over in order to emphasize the point you want to draw attention to? Case in point: nobody in his right mind is going to go back over and re-read the entire post you just quoted anyway . . . they just read it 14 seconds earlier! (If not 15 times.)
