"Adorable and charming" (from a Virgo guy)

Probably cannot tell from my serious looking photo, but I am always smiling. I think that draws lots of people to me. I just smile and make eye contact at whoever. This also brings me unwanted attention, but for the most part, I get to meet lots of interesting people who feel comfortable with me. I like it because it lets me make a lot of new female friends, which seems difficult for a lot of women.
Try just like randomly smiling at strangers next time you are out and about. Will probably feel very awkward for you, but do it anyway.

He dropped me off at home and actually got out of his car to hug me which I've never had happen so I thought that was cute, but I was catching a lot of friendly vibes from him and maybe on my end too (lots of attraction, but our conversation felt serious and intellectual and not so much fun and flirty, which I enjoyed, but I don't know if he did).
Anyway, long story short he sends me a text this morning saying "Thank you for a lovely time last night. You were adorable and charming. Have a great Friday."
Still, this sounds completely like I'm a kid sister or cuddly little puppy to him. Am I just being a picky, ungrateful little a-hole here? Or does he sound like he is really just kinda catching friend vibes from me. Or entirely too soon to tell?
