Have you ever heard the term "An In Tune Virgo" Have you met one? I feel that Virgo's change as they age, or become more experienced. They become more "In tune" with who they are. I feel like young Virgo's are more openly critical, shy, less confident, and less trusting. Now don't get me wrong...I've met a few young "In tune" Virgo's and they were the opposite of what I mentioned above. But they always seemed more open, willing to listen, and more tolerant of others. I was a typical young Virgo until about the age of 30. I was was raised in home full of Aquarius people. I often felt like an outcast because I wasn't part of the group. I think this caused me to project more of the negative Virgo qualities I mentioned above. Around age 30 I stopped pursuing the family "clique" mentality and started doing my own thing. I began to explore and experience on my own. I discovered and accepted who I was, and began to take a much more positive view of things. When family or friends made negative remarks I learned to say " well I don't feel that way, but were all different". I've learned to be less critical and "All knowing" LOL. Instead now (when I know the answer) I've learned to guide people to the answers they're looking for, instead of blurting it out. I've learned to listen more with my heart than with my head. And, I've learned that Perfect is boring. It's our imperfections that make us interesting. Any one have any thought on this?... feel free to comment, I'd love to hear what you think!
An In-Tune Virgo....

damn, everything I was going to say to explain the difference, you said it first. I feel like I had my quarterlife crises at 20 and I didnt get to this 'enlightened' phase till 23, it took 2 years of concerted daily effort and struggle to finally get there. It was almost like becoming a baby again and relearning EVERYTHING. I do have to credit my virgo ex for highlighting the virgo flaws the sparked my desire to change.

I've heard it referred to as "an evolved virgo"

I hate that I cant edit my posts. I feel like the biggest differences are one, my concern over anyone's opinion of me, is pretty much completely gone. and secondly the big difference is giving up my desire for control. Anytime anyone wants control its always in response to a feeling of insecurity. I just dont care about trying to exert myself on anyone anymore in anyway. My boundaries are my boundaries but Im not interested in coercing someone into abiding to them.

Well put! Getting over other peoples opinion of myself was a big step...and a very liberating one! And I like the way you phrased the 2nd part "I just dont care about trying to exert myself on anyone anymore in anyway." The need for control was definitely a way to feel secure...but I've experienced so much more by going with the flow. I have a gift for forecasting the out come of situations...and made safe decisions based on that. In short I rarely had new experiences. I was stifling myself and didn't know it. I've become much more humble and open by allowing myself to be in situations that were new, unknown, or uncontrollable by me. I've found this especially true when traveling to places I have never been. It tends to make me ask for help, which I rarely liked doing before.
Great comments guys...keep em coming!
Yes Virgo's can be a handful...almost like dealing with Aries (childlike). I think that's why the Taurus mother, patience role can be so attractive to a Virgo.

I know it's been 3 years since this was created but this is a great topic, and I'm glad I came across it. It's good to hear some life experience and advice from more evolved/experienced virgos 🙂
