mindset breeds environment

though u may not personally control wat is around u.. the effect it has on your person and wat u bring to situations beyond that is the deciding factor

wat surrounds someone obviously has an effect on how they operate but it does not directly determine how they operate.. exposure and problem solving skills do.. which bring genes onto the table n emotional influences from those who r let in

Erm,think its more like...its lazier to sell drugs or rob people as broke as your own damn self than getting a job or being smarter with your child support or welfare.I have more pity for the single mother with 5 kids,no car so has to use buses or trains to and from everywhere, etc.,starting out young couples, families in low income jobs, etc. situations than I do for thugs for people who live in ghettos. And I'm currently living in a ghetto also and you'd be insane to not want out ASAP.

Government or church donated food sucks ass,I prefer gardens to grow my own healthier foods which gets a WTF reaction from the useless people(can't help but be bad). They fried thier brain cells and have no clue how to survive without someone helping them(money) so they're just as lazy as them rich folks they always complain about.

"...take yo geeky ass on and read a big hairy potter book "

Oh my, how interesting ...
Hahahaha, there?s just no way I can take what you?ve stated seriously. My dear "Hood Mentality" being a good thing—??

Nikita ... why are you promoting the "hood" as an excusive place where people where people are happy and content? Your denial scares me because my generation is SUPPOSE to be more aware of what's apparent and obvious. You assume that where you come from determines your life experiences. This is necessarily true. Why? Because you claim you are from the "hood" but judging by your comments you honestly have no idea what you are endorse ... but you claim to be from the "hood" -- no Nikita you are from the pop culture "glossy" (the BET generation) depiction of the "hood". Sadly, the government is very slow on what has been a problem for years.

The inner cities are places that need help with neighborhood improvement and more academic enrichment. How could you speak so proudly of the what's going in your inner city if it's barely receiving what I've just stated. Before you assume that 'I know not what I discuss', I have first hand experience on what it's like growing up in the inner city along with getting educated in the school system. No, I'm not the same mixture as yourself (black/Arabic) but I do know what I speak. Where I grow up was not the greatest but my parents didn't have any other options. The inner city can be a very wick place and if you are not a sharp person you can easily get "caught in the mix". There is nothing wonderful nor grand about having to hear about brutality (all kinds), drug trafficking, and cultural genocide.

I must comment on your statements about nerds ... Why do you feel I a need to degrade them—?

As a fellow geek, I can vouch for why "The Nerd Mentality" isn't so bad

?The Nerd Mentality? -- kept me out of the may dangers of the streets because I was too busy with my education to have ... party, drink, smoke, etc.

?The Nerd Mentality? -- has provide excellent academic enrichment (beyond high school)

?The Nerd Mentality? -- has kept me from screwing all kinds dudes before I learned how to calculate gravitation force (I still haven't learned how 😉)

?The Nerd Mentality ?-- has keep me pregnancy free from my teens to my twenties

?The Nerd Mentality? -- has enabled me to talk economically so I would get into huge amounts of debt before the age of 23 years old

?The Nerd Mentality? -- kept my view of the world more realistic instead of idealistic.

So as you can see ... being a glasses wearing, Harry Potter reading, cheese sandwich eating nerd can have MAJOR benefits 😉

Hopefully you'll understand more when you are older but until then don't speak of something you don't understand (ie. the "Hood" and the "The Nerd Mentality" or else you will continue to sound like a complete idiot.

Really? Okay then tell me what you are talking about. I'm lost, because I know i've seen people in the hood, doesn't seem to be anything to strive towards. The hood mentality doesn't seem to be a beautiful lovely thing either.

No, the hood isn't beautiful. But I didn't say I liked a hood person, I said I like my man to be hood, meaning he got a different type of swagger about himself, But he has to be very intellegent. A lot of bogus things happen in the ghetto and the people act as if thats just a way of life, like if it isn't them then they don't care if another person is down and out, and I HATE THAT.
