from the left hand side"...wtf does this song mean? Grew up listening to it as a kid but never the hell knew. Is it about marijuana? Never smoked the big M but either way, love the damn song.

Yeah, it's about marijuana. Dutchie means like joint. I can't really talk because I have smoked before, but it is a fun sign.

Thanks Candeh, girl. My friends and I always tried to figure out what the hell it meant and of course our parents weren't the ones who were gonna tell us. LOL. Not to mention, we could never really make out the words. Sounds like a group of kids sing'n with marbles in their mouths.

It's also the name for the Dutchmasters Blunt Cigar, popular in the U.S., but not as popular as the Swisher Sweet for rolling blunts due to it's relative difficulty for rolling. I myself prefer Royal Blunts' passion fruit tubes, and tequila lime blunt cigars, mmmmmmmm.

Just to let you all know the song is about weed, but the reason the kids got away with singing it is because a dutchie is also the name of the huge pan used in jamaican cooking (dutch pan) , bit of trivia for you all there 🙂
