The Dark Side of Virgo

I came across this link and account of a Sagittarius woman who has had terrible experiences with Virgo men in her life. It peaked my interest and called me to question and think to myself, if I too, were capable of such things.

How the signs are right.

When I was in sixth grade this boy had a book. He came over to me and told me that he wanted to read something to me out of this book he was holding. He had asked me what my birth date was and I told him. I think back now and I can remember what he told me 42 years ago. He told me that Virgo men chase the Sagittarius women, Virgos are attracted to the Sagittarius women and it is not good.

I married a Virgo in 1970 talk about a control freak. He never held a job, was a loner, always had problems with his family. Fighting all the time, he was sneaky and vindictive and would cause harm to me and my children. I got rid of him!

Did that teach me a lesson? Nope. Guess what in 1974 I married again, another Virgo. This one was worse than the first one. This one had a good job, was so nice and thoughtful, kind until we married. I already had one son, and was pregnant with his child. The control starts in small doses, taking away your independence. We do not need two cars lets sell yours we can save on insurance money. You do not need to work you just stay home and serve me. He was also a loner, estranged from his family, had no friends male or female. Then they start with the verbal abuse, and it grows into physical abuse.

Virgo??s have a strong need to control, and they can be dangerous. Watch the old movie ?? The Burning bed??. He use to lock up anything important to him in a closet, and he wanted you to beg him on your knees for any money he would give you. If his food was not cooked right or his instructions were not followed he would throw the plates all over the place and break things. I was easy prey because I was weak. The time came when I found out he was having affairs, good for him, and when he started walking around the apartment in military clothes and armed it was enough. Death became a better choice then living with him. I became stronger and I was surprised that my strength was knocking out his control. I started to fight back, I was given a car, and I took it, so I had my freedom back and the outcome for him was when he finally pushed too far h

My girlfriend's sister, commented that she believes I am possessive and I would get violent in the future.

All of these things really had me wondering... sure, I have problems controlling my anger. However, I have never been a man to raise his hand against a loved one.

yo its good to have back Cajun for real dis dark side stuff sounds intense i think it depends Wat they have in their chart and how their moon sign is apsected as well i got a leo moon and u have that same placement i read that Leo mooners can be very controlling because of our ego but when i did my chart i have a moon square Pluto which is intense you can read it for ur self.

As true as this all may be, I have never been violent...

Incidentally, psychology has been one of my long dreamed areas of study.

I am a Leo woman who dated a Virguy for a brief period. He was VERY controlling, possessive and smothering. Being a Leo, I was not one to be dominated so easily so when he realized that I was far to strong to fall prey to his controlling ways he moved on to weaker prey (while he was still dating me). I didnt really mind it very much because I was starting to see his true colors and knew it would never work out. So, I watched it happen from afar. After only a couple of months of dating her, he alienated her from her family, moved her with him out of town, convinced her she didnt need a vehicle of her own, lied to her about the dynamics of our relationship which caused her to form an unfavorable opinion of me, unbeknownst to me of course!

During the course of our brief relationship, I had become very close friends with a girl that I met through him. She and I remained in touch and she would update me on his "new relationship" telling me that she felt sorry for the new girl and that she was just so glad that it wasnt me. Just recently, the girlfriend lost a family member and had to return home (without him) to support her family during their time of loss. I ran into her the other night and she proceeded to tell me that she was so sorry she had been unfriendly to me and had no idea that he had lied to her about me and our relationship, that she had since learned the truth. She told me that she had gotten away from him without him realizing that she did not plan on returning to him, but that she was NEVER going back!!! Good for her! She is a very sweet and young girl that definitely was taken advantage of by an older and mentally unstable individual. I thank my stars for not being in her shoes.

I now have another Virguy that is pursuing me and despite the fact that he seems like a very nice and normal guy, I am extremely apprehensive on letting him take me out. He is very persistent but I am unsure. I fear that he may not be a good match for me and I certainly do not wish to fall prey to a controlling and manipulative man. I know that you cannot lump everyone into zodiac signs, but the behaviour is befitting in many cases. I am taking it very slow and not letting him in or giving him much to go on. He says he likes a challenge and will pursue until I am ready to go out with him, but Im just not sure!!!!

hikoro, I have always believed my girlfriend should be mine. In this field, Scorpios and Pisces women excel. I don't see why I should ever have to tolerate my girlfriend squealing for or entertaining any other men. I am not controlling, restricting or overly possessive as some have accused me on this board.

Dyar, this is true. I thought the same thing. An example of worst case scenario with uncanny individuals involved.
I have been very keen to follow your advise based on your account of your Libra wife. My Sag always wants me to make the decisions and I always emphasize that she is just as much in this relationship as I am and I expect her to put me in my place and allow me to do things for her without compromising her individuality.

LeoLady, I am sorry to learn of your unfortunate encounter... though I am sure it is not exclusive for Virgos to be this way. I hear this about Scorpio men and women a lot more.

LOL! Thank you, but no worries... I wasnt that upset over it! I wasnt in a place in my life where I was looking for a committed or long-term relationship so it came out for the better for me. We had never discussed exclusivity but I wasn't seeing anyone else. Noone likes to be cheated on but trust me, I ended it with my dignity in tact and came out looking the better. I told him I had more respect for myself than to be subjected to that type of behaviour from anyone and that I was no longer interested in pursuing an intimate relationship with him. He was taken completely by surprise but even now speaks very highly of me to his friends and says he has mad respect for me as a woman. I just have to figure out what Im gonna do about the new Virgo in pursuit!

Personally I havent had any experience with Scorpios but am planning to steer clear of them.... not a good match for a Leo.

Sags ARE easy to keep.... If you are a Leo!!! They love us and we love them! LOL!!

^^^^^lol true. Sags (of opposite sex) are annoying though. They are annoyingly persistant for a leo. Cajun all you have to do to keep a Sag is be active, busy, have a carefree attitude, and have wandering EYES (as in both). LOL
