This year .....

Apparently, I had no clue what I was talking about.

I tried to talk about Monticello and some history facts, and then realized that I was probably wrong ... because I suck at history, and that was likely all just talking out of my ass.



What I wanted to say was .... we are going to Monticello for my husbands birthday this year, and are both excited and can't wait. He's a real history buff and visiting civil war museums, battlegrounds and reinactments are something he really enjoys, and neither of us have been to site of Thomas Jefferson's Plantation.

So, what exciting day do you have planned for your Virgo?

We're hoping to pick up on some energy on Mulberry Row ..... hopefully, it won't be crowded and we can meditate a little

Being alone in a place like this will probably be the highlight of my whole year ..... I'll let you guys know if I sensed any spirits hanging around. And/or if I pick up a ghost on camera, I'll post it.

Seriously, this dude could spend hours on end waving that thing everywhere. He just loves it !!!

We live in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, and this place is rich in Civil War history .... there are numerous famous battlegrounds all over the place here. In fact, I guess it's been a decade or more ago, we were visiting a cemetery that had a couple mass graves, one for Union soldiers and one for the Negroes (from both sides) .... and his detector was going ape shit where the graves are. He couldn't dig of course.

But, yeah, he probably will take it with him. My interest isn't really the mansion, rather Mulberry Row.


Mulberry Row is legendary, and should be a must visit for every American. 🙂

Which I am a stickler about. In fact, if we're watching a movie from that era, or a relevant time ... and a black person is referred to as "black", it turn it off and refuse to watch it.

Got tix to his first NHL game for when his team comes to play mine. We're pretty new and it's kind of an expensive gift because of that, but screw it. YOLO. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Whatever. He's gonna love it.

Yes, he is. Obviously this gift comes from a place of sincerity .... he's not just going to love the gift, he's going to love another part of you for including him in your considerations.

And if a person doesn't know that, then they are just an option to their Virgo, and not the priority.

The last time we went to a game, this poor sot got hit in the forehead with a puck ... and that's the fun of it, right? And all the fighting.
