Top priorities in a relationship

Hi, wondered if you guys could give me some insight on what your priorities are in a relationship, I'm Pisces and curious to see how we differ on this or don't!

honesty, transparency, communication, selflessness, consideration, civilised, integrity, responsible, patient - these are expected

clean, modest, calm, gentle, diligent, vigilant - these are desired

selfish, self centred, cunning, deceitful, malicious, spiteful, proud, uncooperative, rude, loud, opportunistic, arrogant, irresponsible, impatient, vindictive, controlling, dishonest - these mean you are going to be dumped AND chased down the street until you jump off a cliff haha

Honesty, selflessness and consideration, absolutely. The gentle I like too, clean is a biggie for me and I think a sense of humour is a must. Would you give me a better understanding of how you would define transparancy please.

Yes and lots of transparent clothes too! that will always keep my interest.

Ok another question, if you date are you looking for potential long term mostly, or a casual affair maybe just for sex or is friendship an important factor too?

at my age, i look for marriage outcome with kids. so friendship is critical. cannot be partners if you cant be friends

seriously, i couldnt look myself in the mirror if there was no responsibility in it. if you look in my list, responsibility is expected. irresponsibility means i'll make you jump off a cliff haha

we have to show we are civilised and a higher class of person. otherwise these young kids will just imitate. we have to set a good example

I believe a true union is the bond between two people and if strong enough will last forever the paperwork is secondary, maybe the concrete to the foundation....

Were I to be in a relationship though....priority would be establishing intimate bonds through intimate moments(intimate=non sexual). What do we DO together that's not sex or dating. Totality. I AM that guy...well, I was...lol.

What went wrong, why aren't you that guy anymore? I would imagine you have a lot to give to the right person...just a thought!

I get what you saying about intimate bonds though, it's the mental closeness/understanding each other...just that feeling in your tummy (sorry girlie language!) The hug cos I feel you need one or the coffee you bring me because you want to, the drive out into the countryside to share the views because who else do I want to share this with, am I on track?

friends with benefits? well you are both getting something without any cost to either of you haha. thats really a matter of convenience

i do admit that there are some friends that i imagine what they look like during the deed but its biased of me to answer you given my circumstances. if i was feeling in the mood i may give you a different answer

but trying to put myself in that situation, you are really getting free sex. when you start desiring to see your friend enjoying it, then you start to care about your friend and i feel there's a natural tendency to develop something because of that care

compared with someone that is not your friend, then friends with benefits is the better choice right? certainly better than watching porn and imagining yourself there when you are there

but for pisces, be careful of 'transference' that is banking of emotions and feelings inside your friend

I'm not against the idea of marriage it's more the set up o it in whichever faith etc. The symbolism of union yes but outside of that it's a tough one imo.

everyone is at different stages of progression. different people have different stages of progression in their element. different elements have different tendencies for different things. thats normal and hopefully that means that there are some women around my age that havent chosen to settle down until now

who cares about what faith you are, marriage is social recognition. the most important being between you and your partner and your family. the rest dont matter because they arent related to you haha

thats really understandable if you dont see love on the horizon. maybe society has placed some expectations on me so i really control myself. at night time, there is the desire but i suppress it. i kind of use the marriage reason to cover it but then i really am killing two birds with one stone if i invest my efforts in chasing down wife potential. sometimes we have to be mirrors to ourselves to discover the reasons why we do things. maybe love isnt on the horizon but dont give up hope because you feel there's no opened doors - there's always an open door, you just have to find it

when someone is banking their emotions inside you, when you have someone to protect, you really can become strong

when you bank your emotions inside someone else, when someone is trying their hardest to protect you, you feel injustice if others try to shut down your someone else when they're at their personal best. then you really can become incredibly strong

i re-read what i wrote and i found it was optimistic BS haha

just dont think that someone wouldnt love you, yeah its hope but probability wise unlikely. but dont give up hope. think of it as determining your destiny

@on track...yes you are. But to add...it's more of- the day where there was really nothing to do but wash the dishes, and clothes and clean the house together. Eating ice cream after washing the car.....together....

^^^ = simplistic loveliness and if we sit together in silence and it's not awkward, just comfortable maybe intune or not! that's good too...

Actually Cajun I think you're far from shallow and transparent, I just thought your comment about Pisces was shallow but if you have the experience then fair play, I can't argue on that, but unlike DreamyEyes I'm no sweetheart well unless you strip me bare and accept me for what I am warts and all and still like me then I'm a sweetheart but only if you've seen the real me and still like what you see.....
