Virgo and neatness

I personally think this whole virgo being neat and orderly thing is BS, I don't know any of them who are exceptionally neat tidy or organized. My dad and brother are both Virgos and they're ranking high on the list of the messiest people I know 😉

How many of you actually are like this? Sometimes I read about Virgo and they almost seem associated with mysophobia & shit.

I won't lie, I'm pretty messy at home! But there are areas where I'm very nit picky. Work related things, school and some appearances. I am a little crazy over how people should do things as well. It needs to be orderly. I wonder if I'm the only one that is this way haha!

Yeah messy,at home.Im very orderly on things like the pantery has to be neat.All my games and movies are alphbetical and chronological and pictures have to be straight.It drives me crazy if I have to work with someone sloppy especialy if they are my helper and they put tools and stuff back in the wrong boxes on the work truck UGH!.I also like to look neat and groomed.

I also enjoy cleaning. Yes enjoy. I find it therapeutic especially when I'm emotionally stressed out. It's like the spa Ahhaha

Yeah I got that too.. It makes me 'feel' organized too. Like I got some shit off my mind. I'm a pisces tho.

Sounds like a hypocritical thing for them to do. Most ones I know are messy omg ESP my brother Im always yelling at him. He only cleans when his gf come in town. I always say things like "hey girl can you tell your bf to clean his sh*t up now that you're here" lol

After telling him over to over to clean a mess he finds little things to keep it messy drives me nuts! I'm a scorpio but my venus and Jupiter is in virgo and I hate other mess and I critiqued every bf I had lol. I'm big on orderly and neat. There's only 2 virgos I know that are actually clean freaks. One always has sanitizer on them for everything they touch.

Initially, I thought this myth was a total crock because my Virgo son is the messiest person I've ever encountered in my life. (he's mostly fire too).

However, what I did observe is he can't stand *other* people's messes.

He can live in his own mess with no problem but is completely allergic to anyone else's.....almost to the point of being prude like. lol

His 'mess' is also very orderly in his mind. His room may have looked like a tornado struck....and every part of the house he visited, he left his mark....but there was a certain 'order' to it only he could understand.

I would be so upset at my Mother when she would clean my room while I was at school,I couldn't find what I needed.I knew where everything was at.She finially gave up and let me clean how I saw fit.It's same even now.

so if you guys are orderly in the way that you SEE it which isn't cookie cutter style that means your perfection is not perfect its skewed. I wonder if it is how you see yourself on the inside like "messy orderly" if that makes sense. I might be wording this wrong...

being overly emotional about minor things such as moving things that is "out of place" probably is due to the suppress of emotions.

Agreed with this. When hubby said okay I'm going to spend the day to pick up around here, I'd go and hide my stuff, otherwise he would rearrange them and I lost them all.

He bought me this desk that has a top that you can slide to close the top of the desk to hide my shit he said. Sweet, huh?
