I was reading through Linda Goodman??s Virgo Man chapter - and being a Virgo Mooner I really related to this part:

Once he's decided it's for real, however, he'll declare himself with touching simplicity. His love will burn with a steady flame, never fluctuating like the love of other Sun signs, and it will give warmth over the years with wonderful dependability. Is that so bad?

There's no denying that the flame is strong, once it's been kindled. It's almost impossible to extinguish it.

I'm 100% the same, especially with friends. They can disappear for months and months, but once they??re back it's like they never left. My love(or indifference) is very consistent. It takes a lot for it to change. Absence certainly doesn't make a difference to the way I feel about someone. I guess that sounds boring. It's not really a passionate volatile inferno, just a consistent flame.
A very practical sensible consistent flame haha😄

What do you think? y/n?

I have virgo moon also...when someone is in my heart it is hard to move them out of it...once i declare that i love they have to do some pretty fucked up shit in order for me to no longer care, I am really like that....virgo moon is someone who pays much attention to the details of love.if a person has potential when understand that and they are still given a chance that is fair ..just because they don t have all that an established lover may have it is the virgo mooner who will stick it out with you, so your right when you say abscents only makes the heart founder....it doesnt make the feelings abscent with it

yeah but in reality, girls dont care about the flame once they dont love you anymore and have found someone else.
So after a break-up, its a pretty useless thing to possess can leave you humiliated. It is great for romance novels and stories but in real life its not practical. But at least you know what it feels like, icedredrobot.
Virgo man with Venus in Scorpio here and that flame , I once a wrote a poem about it, it was titled, Inextinguishable.

I compared the flame to the intensity in lightning and an active volcano. I wish i could remember the whole thing but i dont cause like much of my poetry, its just thoughts and I rarely write them down or keep them. It was a silly poem nevertheless. One thing im pretty sure of is, no one has had the eternal flame for me.

Yes to everything you said!! It feels like sensible love, like it wont change because of silly little things. A grown up kinda love. Although it takes a while to get the flame lit, but once it's on it takes something dramatic to put it out.

omg you have Scorp Venus? My condolences - honestly only Scorps should be allowed to have that, they're the only ones who can handle it. My Libra sister has it too.

Delusions with love, romance and stories? You're talking to a Pisces here😛 Just gotta learn to allow yourself to love others without needing it in return, I still carry a flame for me ex and it's been almost 2years!! Doesn't bother me if I carry it till I die, it is what it is. Doesn't have to be humiliating, I have no contact with him. Can't find your poem though!

that ugly quote job scarred my eyes o_.

anyway...

that's you in your avi? so gorgeous — *goes starry eyed* 😛

i have a virgo rising. i think the term 'consistent flame' is beautiful.

that rings true...i can flip out, go robocop, take a vow to ignore that person for the rest of my life...i never mean it deep down though. when my heart's in it, that's it. i could hold that torch forever

and i could so see myself being with the same person forever, no problem.

Awww fuck yeah. I know exactly what you mean. That out of sight out of mind shit doesn't hold true at all when I really love someone. The flame does continue to burn for them, & sometimes they don't even know it.

Aww yeah, the flame is always lit, whether I act it out or not. Sometimes I wont act all ~lovey~ and may seem as if I've fallen out of love, but no nooo - it's there burning away under the surface. Just cause we don't show it doesn't mean it's not there

Romantically they make one of the greatest romantic matches amongst all zodiac signs. Pisces will be instantly attracted to the intellectual theories proposed by the Virgo, while the dreamy , romantic, rhapsodic nature of Pisces will keep the Virgo spellbound.

Awwww see we belong together!! I feel Virgo may be driven mad by us, but gosh our heart's in the right place, and I always try.

Lol, well I love you fishies though my aloof and shy nature may not always show it 😉! Here are some of my fave descriptions

There is a saying that opposites attract and Virgo and Pisces are a perfect example of this phrase. When these two meet, there is instant curiosity and sexual attraction. Pisces will see Virgo as a dream lover and will make every effort to hold onto the sexy and smart Virgo.

Virgo will see social and sexual adventures in Pisces and will always leave Pisces wanting more. Sex will be a strong element that keeps the relationship exciting. Love will blossom over time to the point of possible marriage.
For this to work, both signs need to truly understand the definition of commitment.
