Hi everybody!

I'm new in these forums and have been reading some of you for few days now
I'm not a big believer in horoscopes, but I have to recognize that I have seen similar behavioral patterns under people that belong to a given sign. I find that quiet interesting, so I thought I would join in to learn more about all this.

I have been dating an aquarius for close to a year now (yeah, I know half this board would be like, what?! An Aqua and a Virgo, that can't be! lol)

My fun aqua and I are very different in some ways but so similar in others, believe it or not. We both enjoy life, we love to help people, and we both can have wonderful chats, not to mention other wonderful things

Just as wonderful as it has been, let me tell you, it's been quiet the ride!
My patience and flexibility has been tested like never before, but I'm sure I've been quite a pain in the butt too at times.

I've began to realize that aquas aren't that bad, but rather sweet and missunderstood. I can see more clearly now why aqua and virgo can drive each other nuts at times, but also why we can still feel some sort of strong attraction towards each other (at least in my case is very true).

I think the only thing that is hard for me to deal with is the distance.
We both live in two different cities, have contrasting schedules, and my aqua, being the aqua she is, feels always torn between spending time with her friends, doing her activities and me and/or seeing her family.

So, althoguh I love my aqua, I wonder if this sense of prioritization becomes a little more clear over time. Meaning, do aquas feel less torn to choose between their friends/activities and bfs/gfs at some point? If it becomes more clear over time, what makes you want to spend more time with whoever you are dating as opposed to with your friends? Is this more clear in certain situations or would this be always something you'll struggle with? What has your experience been?

Has any you wondeful Virgos dated one Aqua or have heard of someone who has?

Any thought are welcome!

I don't fear them and I'm a Virgo as people call me; they are zestful, energetic, and full of life; if they decide to use me, there will be hell to pay; simple. Don't insist on entering a relationship anyway with a person who uses you; that is usually apparent if you look, and listen carefully; that is human nature, that can't be simplified by sign USERS ARE EVERYWHERE IN EVERY SIGN; I will unemotionally detach from you, and rend you foolishly useless; they should be able to deal though claiming to be as emotionally detached as their Virgoan counterparts; but they are on a positive note very linguid, and are ALWAAAAAYS down for a debate, and the thing I THINK IS BEST about aquas is THEY ARE NOT MUNDANE; I myself am not very mundane; money is nothing more than a way to aquire materials, things that melt, or waste away; their thinking is like mine, and my aqua friend and I debate on new ideas for hours some times; it's all great becuase they travel outside the statosphere, with thought, and the are like minded in that they constanly are trying/dreaming up new ideas.

Virguy and VirgoExalted...thank you!

Virguy - yeah we are pretty awesome for what I've heard 😉 we can't help it!! lol
And yes I agree with everything you mentioned about the aquas...they are so exciting, but bring challenge to the combo...I know...I know exactly what you mean.]

Is that need for safety that is challenged not by their love, but by their actions...but then again, Virgo likes challenges and we can be quiet the trip sometimes too, lol, we drive them crazy with our self-analysis and smart mouth! 🙂

VirgoExalted - yes, we have to lose fear to enter into something...I think that is lesson I'm learning with this relationship. Trust issues are tested constantly, but I'm growing in each step...and if things don't work it, well, I'll keep on walking and know that I did what I could...and although I can love much, I love my life too...so I can go on.

Aquas are awesome as friends, no doubt about it, I think the "relationship" part is what gets tricky...

Seriously though; it is said that uranus, is the detriment, or oppositional planet to mercury.....yet we find it so easy to get on with one another.....I find myself more able to express, and share new ideas more readily with people, and well, my aquarian friend helps to work out the kinks; he seems more 'grounded' than me....strange that we flip like that...I always come out with new ideas.

Aquarians & Virgos.....I think there is something 'strange' going on here....as a Virgo, we SHOULD be completely urelateble in approach to one another; we should be enemies almost....Virgos are 'usually' practical in expression, but I more open, frank, and honest, I think also the reason why we Virgos get on so good with aquans is becuase we ourselves usually approach things from a 'mental' plane; we think, and have strong, broad-minded mental facilities; I know perfection cannot exist for mortals.... yet I strive for it...I STILL THINK Virgo would be more at home with the wind signs, and libra with the earth signs.....I CALL FOR A SWITCH!!
