Virgo Girls!

I have seen some of you posting so I wanted to get to know you a bit better to see if we have certain things in common πŸ˜‰

Some questions for you...

1) Do you tend to appreciate someone and could feel deeply and passionately, but keep things to yourself, until someone earned that chance or got lucky enough?
2) Do you secretly or openly enjoy reading books and researching info?
3) Do you keep secrets about your virgo self than only you know and nobody else would know...perhaps ever?! πŸ˜‰
4) Have you been told that you are sensual and/or a good kisser?
5) Do you think intelligence is a turn on? :p
6) Do you constantly seek for new challenges or things to learn?

That should be enought for now.

Oh by the way, I never heard any complains about my voice, as a matter of fact people literally asked me during personal times to say things to them, really close to their ears because of it πŸ˜‰ And none of the virgo girls I know seemed to have problems with that either, did you ever? (I guess that is question number 7!) That post someone made seemed hillarious to me. πŸ™‚ I don't mind working on things to improve myself even more though...so la la la...okay done!

It is interesting to see some of the similarities and differences with our Virgo brothers, but I am sure other factors influence the way we all act and react to things...and I have enjoyed reading all of your comments ladies!

Looking forward to some of your answers. πŸ™‚

1) Do you tend to appreciate someone and could feel deeply and passionately, but keep things to yourself, until someone earned that chance or got lucky enough?

I had to read this more than once, but I believe I get the question now. Pretty much. I mean, I love to flirt and I love to get attention from guys (probably my venus in leo), but in the grand scheme of things, I'm not into just jumping from guy to guy. I really don't get involved with guys unless I do feel some sort of spark. Without it, I'm just bored. So when that person who is lucky enough to get my attention or has earned it, I open up more and am willing to show how deeply I can care for someone. And it goes pretty deep.
2) Do you secretly or openly enjoy reading books and researching info?

Oh hell yeah. I actually taught myself how to read, or so my mother explains to me. When I was younger, I read so much, and I still treasure all of my books. I don't get to read as much as I do, but when I do, I fucking love it. And I'm a knowledge vacuum. I love anything that provides me with information, and half the time I'm on the net, it's just looking up random things. It's why I love school so much.
3) Do you keep secrets about your virgo self than only you know and nobody else would know...perhaps ever?!

Ummm, I think so? I mean, there are certain traits that I know I have that I don't really mention unless the subject is brought up. It's not that I keep them secret, it's just I have no reason to really bring them to light.
4) Have you been told that you are sensual and/or a good kisser?

Teehee. I have actually. The last guy I was with, the cancer, said I had really soft lips, and he just loved kissing me. I've gotten sensual before too; and it's not like I don't think I can be, it's just I'm not very sensual unless you're someone I want to be sensual with.
5) Do you think intelligence is a turn on? :p

It really is. I love to have good conversations, and if you can't stimulate my mind in some way, it's a no go. I'm not saying you need to be a graduate from Yale or something, but I need SOME type of intelligence. Intelligence is also very subjective, so as long as you can form a proper sentence and you can teach me something new, we're good.
6) Do you constantly seek for new challenges or things to learn?

1) Do you tend to appreciate someone and could feel deeply and passionately, but keep things to yourself, until someone earned that chance or got lucky enough?

--Usually, yes. There have been two or three times in my life that I let myself go with reckless abandon however. I both loved and loathed the feeling. Two of those three times I felt were mistakes. The last, I'm still not too sure about.

2) Do you secretly or openly enjoy reading books and researching info?

--Yes. I'm a Googleholic, and a bookworm. I love to learn new things.

3) Do you keep secrets about your virgo self than only you know and nobody else would know...perhaps ever?! πŸ˜‰

--Of course. You don't EVER divulge it all. Always leave them wanting more.

4) Have you been told that you are sensual and/or a good kisser?

--Yes. I have full, pouty lips that can be gentle, yet demanding. Always complimented on my kisses.

5) Do you think intelligence is a turn on? :p

--Of course. I don't care how cute you are, if you can't hold a good conversation with me about something interesting, I'm going to pull away.

6) Do you constantly seek for new challenges or things to learn?

--Most def. My newest challenge is Maya 2011. People say I'm nuts for tackling it on my own (and before my college can teach me how to use it) I say fie. FIE!

Oh by the way, I never heard any complains about my voice, as a matter of fact people literally asked me during personal times to say things to them, really close to their ears because of it πŸ˜‰

--Same. I don't think voices have anything to do with signs, really--I think it's a clusterf.uck of genetics/region/upbringing/and status. I side-eye any guy who says he chills with chicks that sound like bimbos. Don't blame them bro...what are you doing hanging around w/them?

Candeh15,

Hi! Thanks for answering. It is so interesting to see the similarities. I have met Virgo girls, throughout my life and keep in touch with at least 5 of them...we are all over the world now and although we never "talked" about ourselves (usually everything else! lol) I think we all share certain similar traits and when I counsel my guy friends (I have seen many guys coming here to ask questions about virgo women) I can see certain patterns in our behavior and traits...it is so interesting.

I feel like I am hungry for knowledge too, I wonder why that is...it is almost like it gives me pleasure or something, like it makes my day, kinda like how some people like food...haha...I like my info and discoveries so much, I can't share all of it, I choose when to share and if I do, I do it in small bits and pieces...unless a specific subject needs to be addressed to help someone. Mostly I keep it to help me be better...

As far as the good kissing/sensual part, haha, I hear ya. No complains in those areas either.

I heard and read that we are good at it and I think it might be because we like to perfect things, are flexible and open (more than people would think) to experience all things once we choose someone, and because since we LOVE details, we don't want to miss any spot...not one thing. πŸ˜‰

I will come back to finish my response to you and write back to those other special virgo girls soon!

Yes. I need to know that the person feels the same or i'm keeping it under wraps.

Never. Haven't kissed too many people and have yet to meet a man that brings out my sensual side.

5) Do you think intelligence is a turn on? :p
Absolutely. If you're an idiot, you can't hang with me.

6) Do you constantly seek for new challenges or things to learn?
Yes. I believe life is about reinvention. To constantly change and adapt is 'where it's at'.

Oh by the way, I never heard any complains about my voice, as a matter of fact people literally asked me during personal times to say things to them, really close to their ears because of it πŸ˜‰ And none of the virgo girls I know seemed to have problems with that either, did you ever? Never had a problem. My voice is somewhere right in the middle. Not too high and not too low. I don't think sun sign have anything to do with the sound of one's voice.

I couldn't agree with you more. Someone doesn't need to be an Ivy League student or Phd graduate to bring up good subjects or have an interesting mind, although education of course is highly valued, it is the content of the conversations I look into more than any tittles or other things...

And good things about the soft and full lips friend...same here, thus, I've never kissed someone with little lips, haha, I wonder how would that work...and like you once I'm in, I'm in 100% percent, that's why I am selective as far as defining relationships...I wouldn't just get into one just because.

Oh and google yes...so great, any search engine. I kinda dig Youtube as well, quick access for all sort of things...yes!

Layna,

First of all, as I said before, the painting you have in your profile is one of my favorite ones of all times, how awesome that enjoy it as well, is The Kiss right? I love Gustav Klimt. πŸ™‚ I might post the pic to see if the other girls like it too...and list the reasons why "I" do, hmm, perhaps we appreciate and judge similar things in art...interesting.

As far as your answers...

1) Do you tend to appreciate someone and could feel deeply and passionately, but keep things to yourself, until someone earned that chance or got lucky enough?
When I appreciate someone, I would appreciate him/her forever. I also can feel deeply and passionately... but because of that, it leaves me very vulnerable to the people I love, so I keep those intense feelings inside me. Oh, there's no checklist for people to "earn a chance" or get "lucky enough" to see my other side... they just never will. The only person to had experienced slightly that side of me is my only best friend (Aries), because I love, appreciate, and owe her too much, my feelings went completely haywire. That was nearly 4 years ago... been hidden ever since.

2) Do you secretly or openly enjoy reading books and researching info?
Openly. Unless it's... you know... -winks-

3) Do you keep secrets about your virgo self than only you know and nobody else would know...perhaps ever?!
Yes, I do have untold secrets.

4) Have you been told that you are sensual and/or a good kisser?
Nope. My lips are a pair of virgins.

5) Do you think intelligence is a turn on? :p
Definitely! I'd write the same things as Candeh did.

6) Do you constantly seek for new challenges or things to learn?
I don't seek for them... they just line up with what I am already learning, because most of the time they are the "finer detail" stuff. I love gaining knowledge.

7) About the voice thing...
I've gotten a couple of "Your voice sounds really nice." when online friends call the first time. A new friend recently also said, "I love how you talk, [Layna]... it's so soft spoken." My "trademark" between friends is how I produce the most random sounds at the most random times. Personally, I think there's nothing special about my voice, and it just changes according to my mood.

I see that you agree about knowledge. Good thing.

I hear you about your Aries friend. I always seem to find them around me, but nothing has

...ever become anything too serious. They are super fun though. And one of my favorite homewtown friends is an Aries girl too. She isn't just fun (as some the rest of my Aries friends or short-term crushes) but she likes the conversations we have too, which is great.

As far as your virgin lips πŸ™‚ how cute is that... When the right time comes it will be special friend. According to all the kissing experiences of people who kissed virgo girls that I know, it defenitely is a nice thing. So, never worry about it...though if you ever need extra tips, when you choose a subject, some of us could give you some tips. πŸ˜‰

Oh and your untold secrets...haha, yes, just keep the ones that you need to keep. It is good to know that I am not the only one.

It might be related to this inner battle within that some or perhaps most of us seem to have...but we can talk about it some other time.

I'll come up with new questions soon...by the way, feel free (anyone) to ask anything you would like as well.

Ttyl!

Haha, I work in the field of medicine, so I doubt that it would work so well πŸ™‚ but I respect anyone's believes, I have one friend who grew up within that background. As far as your thoughts regarding voices...and the possible factos that affect that, very interesting. Message to VirgoVixxxen (Part 2) πŸ˜‰

So what is the book Pamela about?

I have read some of your comments friend and I can tell that you are very flexible when it comes to conversations too. I like that. Do you think that is what they mean by us being a mutable sign? I can adapt easily to new environment and be objective enough to participate in any convos, though I dont necessarily find them all that interesting or good haha. I do spend more time in things that have purpose, even if the only purpose is learning itself...what about you friend?

Also, what you mentioned about reinvention, so true. I like changes, when they are related to transformation...

By the way, strangely enough, my profile pic in my personal site is of a mermaid too. πŸ™‚ Funny. I just can't relate to those figure the most currently...

I have enjoyed getting to know so far miss VV. Have a great night and feel free to bring up any questions here anytime. I think one of the other virgo girls already did...so I better check that now. I think going one by one might best so I dont miss anything πŸ˜‰ ttyl.

p.s. I got another date with a guy I've been talking to tomorrow night, I dont even know what Im going to wear, I wish all of you would be here to help out! :p Ttyl.

Maya's a 3d meshing/rendering program that can create realistic models like this:

Hmm, very interesting friend. Is this program kind of like Slim or whatever that real life game its called?

That 3D girl looks great (except maybe her bbs are a bit bigger than what Id appreciate in others haha, but nonetheless great face). Um, she looks almost human, how strange, and she looks like a mix of different exotic races with some European or something. Did you designed her?

By the way, I attended a conference about robotics and the future...and there is so much that the common person today doesn't know about certain things already happening in some countries in Asia. Her pic reminded of some of that...even though she is a 3d image. Maybe eventually we could ask the other girls about thoughts related to futuristic events/trends and stuff like that. It would be interesting to gather some of their thoughts. I just have a theory about some things that might happen next...

Anyway, thank you for sharing this. I can understand why you feel intrigued by it. You still need to tell me why you choose that guy in your pic :p do you have a crush on him, relate to him a bit, just like his movies? (p.s. he is kinda cute!).

I too finding myself mastering in a certain subject once it gets my attention...haha. :p Why is that I wonder? Like I said, it is like when people can't put the cookies away...once something gets in my mind, I must learn about it and from it too! Good to not be alone in that aspect!

And great kisser...YES! I'm beginning to see a pattern in the lips thing too :p haha, maybe we all just got very lucky. :* Whatever the reason, I think once we get a handle of other matching lips...the fire is on. It goes kind of like missy elliot's song "is it worth it...let me work it" πŸ˜‰

You are right about doing one thing at time, sometimes I want to do it all in one day. I need to learn to take deep breathes in between.

Yes! The painting in my profile picture is "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. One of my previous art instructors had a copy of the painting made and had it hung up on a wall in her studio, where I used to go to. Every week I would look at it, and without fail I would notice something new, some exquisite. Just thinking about the detailing makes me go -kisses pursed fingers- "MUAH!" πŸ™‚ I never saw the real painting before, though... if I do, I bet I'll just stand and gawk in front of it for at least 20 minutes (similar stuff happened with Jackson Pollock's huuuuuge action paintings)... haha..

Haha that is a huge part of why I love that painting so much, who knew other virgo lady would like it too, NICE! πŸ™‚

Yeah. Once I learn how to add an image here, I will post it, so that the rest of the girls can appreciate it and share with us their thoughts about it. I will do it soon...probably on Saturday since tomorrow will be a crazy day.

I'm drawn to their fun-loving/inducing nature. πŸ˜› One of the earliest of my crushes was an Aries, too. Do you ever notice that when they go to a restaurant, they will always order a dish they already know instead of a unique one?

LOL so true! The one aries I dated on and off for a little while (now we are friends but live in different cities) used to crazk me up because I dont understand how they can be so brave at some thing sometimes and yet so fearful of trying simple things such as different types of food. How funny that you mention that because I used to tease my date about it...haha I might bring it up again when we talk or send a quick funny message, thanks for such fun observation. πŸ˜‰

I blushed reading that... and I don't blush, like, ever... hahaha. Thanks for the kind words! I've got full lips... used to hate them, but now I love them.

Another virgal with full lips...fantastic! Funny enough, I used to complain about mine too when I was little...and now I love them. They are very selective, but very passionate once they can communicate with others... πŸ˜‰

Yay for Gustav Klimt, art, reading, full lips, sensuality, and good thinking...and of course funny stories!

Question for all female Virgos: Do you have sensitive/dry/normal/oily/combination skin?

And I will answer this question before going to bed since I wont be able to type tomorrow.

I think mine is pretty normal. I get tan easily and I dont have any allergies. I enjoy the sunshine and life at the beach for sure. I buy sun protectors when needed, but other than that, personally, I dont like/need to wear make up or anything other than body lotion.

I actually like my skin...people I dated made me realize that is pretty soft, BUT I keep protected for a little while when it comes to affection with people I like, because it is very sensitive to touch.

What about you?

Okay, I will post my next question to you all next, since I found a little time today! And I am working on re-posting my answer to Layne again because I want to learn this quoting thing and do it well (considering my new intro to the HTML world) πŸ™‚

Yay! I did it!!! I know how to use the quotes functions way better now. *Accomplished*

Okay, so here is my question to all of you, Virgo ladies:

Layna and I seem to agree in one of our favorite paintings, at the moment. The name of the painting is called "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. I will try to add the image below. My apologies if its too big or too small (you might be able to click it to see it) but I don't have much time to uploaded in a separate file. Please look at it and let us know if you like it or not and if you do like it, why is it that you do. Personally, I love it because of the idea it portrays/message, the details, the complexity, the different forms, and the colors...the idea of safety and passion in it. I could go on about it, but I want to know your thoughts, to see if "this" is Virgo girls approved πŸ˜‰

Looking forward to some of your answers. πŸ™‚

As far as the skin question, I have really sensitive skin. It's kind of weird...but the things that would HELP other people's skin actually HURT mine...

I was the kid growing up w/no pimples. I had a face as smooth as a baby's ass, lmfao. My friends used to curse me out all the time. I'd see the Noxema and Neutrogema commercials and think I needed to buy those things to KEEP my face clear, and when I'd use them, I'd start to break out. I also broke out when my mother finally decided to let me wear makeup (at around 13/14) no matter how expensive or noncommedogenic (non pore-clogging) the product was. I don't use those types of facial cleansers, or wear makeup to this day.

I started to experience some dryness/discoloration about 2 years ago (I felt my skin was FINALLY hitting puberty, lol--I'm such a late bloomer, I swear) and I tried everything on my own to clear it up, to no avail. I finally succumbed to a dermatologist earlier this year, and in 2 days the cream she gave me cleared my skin right up--I swear, it looks like it did at 15. Amazing.

My skin tends to get dry. Never oily. Always soft and smooth though, I love it.

Hi Virgodreamz! πŸ™‚

Finally, your profile pic...why did you choose that, if I may ask? TTyl girl.

How are you Amoureux πŸ™‚
Thanks for the thread I think it's very cool to see the similarities between the virgo girls and learn a bit more about each one πŸ™‚
Also, my avatar is just a pic my friend emailed me because it reminded her of me. (I don't actually look like the character at all except in one random photo my friend has)

I can also relate to what you say about wanting to do it all in one day. I had to learn to stop and focus instead of multitasking all over the place. I read somewhere that virgos can exhaust themselves by just going over things in their minds.

Brigo!

I am finally able to write back. Thanks for responding to those questions and yes, welcome to the group!! I don't know how long and how often we will all be able to post, but after joining this forum I thought that it was about time to have a little group for us too. It probably took a while because of the following: a) We, virgo girls, tend to be always busy and/or on the go, 2) We tend to be a little bit more reserved at first with complete strangers, and 3) Sometimes if there isn't much new to see or something that promotes us to grow...we tend just lurke around until somethings else gets our attention (which based on my observation could be almost anything, as long as it is good, interesting, or new). I bet once we find this forum, basically, we check many different rooms and not just this one, until we find that "one" thing and then we might come back to do it all over again.

But let's go to your responses.

1) Yes! Sometimes its great to not be so emotional you know? I have friends who can't think with their heads...! However, as I grow I really am hoping to find a better balance for it all. My feelings are very strong, passionate, and real...I just dont know how to express them well sometimes or even realize that they are there because my head gets in the middle...it takes a special thing for someone to see through that in order to know me. I wonder how people can see through it and wait, but I am glad for it.

2) How did you like Wuthering Heights? Was it a good book? I think another girl here (VirgoVixxxen, possibly) mentioned a book called Pamela. I might check the brief summaries in case I like any or both. I am currently reading a book that corelated neuroscience to behavior. It talks about the effect the environment had on us when we were younger not only in the emotional level, but also in the physical one. I had a theory that such reality was the case, but reading that book and having that idea backed up by so many experts there was great. It assert my original thoughts and its preparing for better discussions. πŸ™‚

3) Haha...I hear ya. I asked this because I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one!

4) YEEESS!!! I got the same response. I think that is so funny...and yet so good! πŸ˜› I always felt accomplished in that area because of it and its always been special, when *I* participate on it (of course!). Focerful kissing, no way. A real good kiss, is like an art. And it can always feel that way, if shared the right way.

5) Hmm, you might need to elaborate a little bit more on that friend. I was referring to "that" being something attractive you see in others, were you referring to how others deal with it with regards to you instead? I won't jump into conclusions until I hear from you.

6) Your message got caught (the comment box here has a limit of spaces, but you never know when you reach one, I know, kinda lame, you just have to sort of calculate I guess. I'm just sharing that so that you know), but I did reading until the part were you like dacing...which is one of my most favorite things! What kind of dances do you like? I pretty much like all types...anything that moves me!

Have a great weekend!

One of your posts was hidden so I didn't know if you responded to my previous questions yet (maybe you want to keep your special project info safe, which I completely understand!), so putting that aside I had a quick question for you, would you consider 3D games benefitial to us in some way...or would you see them as pure entertainment? I'm not sure that the design of Maya involves games, but since you might have been exposed to that (maybe?) I thought I would ask you that since I've always been curious...

Hi. You are so sweet!

It is a pleasure reading each one of you too. I am very sure we are all unique in our own ways and might even be in all sort of places around the world, but yes it is nice to be able to relate in some ways that we might really have in common...

I'm not sure how often and how long we will be able to keep this up (as I mentioned to Brigo), but it is worth taking this chance to at least experience this for whatever time we have. πŸ™‚

So is that friend of yours a really special friend? Oh and random...since we talked about that look in your pic, would you ever color your hair blue or a rare color if you had the chance?

Your comment about multi-tasking and exhausting ourselves just by thought processes, haha, I know. I am working on it friend. Sometimes I just wish I had a button to put my mind on pause, but you know what helps me? Doing silly things...and letting "silly" be part of my world, it is a place of rest for me...you might understand what I mean.

As far as the date...haha...thank you so much for asking.

I did a little cooking, we did a little dancing, and at the end of the night...lots of hugging πŸ˜‰ We are just beginning to date, so I don't want us to rush into anything. I want to enjoy each moment...appreciate it for what it is. And I really like this person, so I am going to wait to see what happens in the following weeks as I get to know him even better. Sometimes I can change my mind suddenly because of many reasons...so I need to take it easy and let it be, I know things will solidify or not over time...it is still very exciting at this moment though. πŸ˜‰

Have you ever been in love? (By the way, anyone reading this who wants to share anything about this tough question, can do it too!)

Hey ADL,

Happy Monday.

Well "Pamela" is set in 17th century London about a young poor maidservant who works for a rich family and is being seduced by her handsome master. She is a young woman of innocence, virtue(?), character and great poise and is literally being chased by her master who wishes to de-flower her. He puts into place all types of schemes and tricks to get her alone so that he can have his way with her, but to no avail. Initially he treats her like a wench because she is his servant and comes from a poor family, basically has no protection, and knows she needs the money. However, as time passes and he sees that she is relentless in her fight to maintain her dignity, he begins to truly fall in love with her. In this era, a man of his stature would never ask for the hand in marriage of a lowly servant such as Pamela but because of her virtuous nature, by the end of the novel, he does ask for her hand in marriage and wishes to give her all of her heart's desire.

For the time, author Richardson was really "pushing the envelope" as this novel was regarded by many as "pornography in disguise" separating England into two groups: Pamelists and anti-Pamelists.

The most beautiful thing about the novel in my opinion is the writing technique that Richardson used; Letters. The story of Pamela is told through a series of letters written directly by the heroine herself.

The Sims? Nah, lol--but it can be used to create for the game.

I think her face throws the whole thing off--looks a bit cartoonish, especially up against the cross stitch pattern of her top. Nope, didn't design her--I peruse the 3D art websites, and I loved the realism from her neck down.

Yes, that robotic baby in Asia still freaks me out--it looks creepy, but its actions are so lifelike! Asia is definitely doing things we've not even considered...

No, thank YOU for this thread πŸ™‚ I love it.

Oh, and the guy in my avi is Scott Speedman (he used to be on one of my favorite shows, "Felicity"). I chose him because he's hot, lmfao.

Happy Wednesday VirgoVixxxen!!

I checked out the book of Pamela briefly and it seemed interesting, your overview was great and letters are special...when done right, for sure. πŸ˜‰

Thank you for sharing that.

Have you ever written letters to someone?

Also, are you mostly into stories when it comes to reading?

OH and did you know Mary Shelley (as another Virgo girl here pointed out), the author of Frankesintein was a Virgo lady?? πŸ™‚ I learned a lot about her this past weekend, because I got curious...one of the things I admired about her is choice to use the difficult times in her life to get up and do something great out of it. Her mom had died when she was born, she got into a confusing love relationships as an adult, and she lost her first child...BUT instead of using that to go crazy or do something dumb she used those emotions to write and now she is known as one of the founders of science fiction....can you believe it? Check it out. I captur

So are they mostly models for different products?

3D art websites are cool, as long as someone sees them for what they are.

That baby from Asia is not as weird as the 5 year old girl, have you seen her? It's a bit terrible...I have a theory about certain things, but this is not the place to share much of that. Note: By the way, any Virgo girls reading this, if you ever come to any realizations that are kinda big, try to not use public channels to open up too much about it, unless you are completely safe, I'm sure you'll figure out why or maybe you already know that. Nothing too big, just thought I would add it as note.

Anyway, it's a pleasure talking a bit with each one of you. CLC, I have to learn more about 3D art websites, I'll check them out now and let you know my thoughts πŸ˜‰

Oh...and I did watch Felicity a little bit too. I don't watch TV as much, except for certain channels, ocasionally, but once in a while I do get hooked lol. I wonder whatever happened to Felicity. It was nice to see a girl who was fun, sweet, and funny, and yet would actually take some time to study, like real students do, in the show...haha...maybe that's what made it a bit special for me.

Okay I better go now.

Take care and ttyl!

Hey there ADL!

Yes, I have written tons of letters to friends, family, and even my first love. Letters are awesome and I hope to have the opportunity to do that again someday with some of the important people in my life. With all of this new age technology, connecting with others can be so impersonal. There is such a joy in knowing that someone took the time out to 'pen' a letter to you. It's such a special feeling.

Yes, "Frankenstein" was a mandatory read for one of my English college courses. What a beautiful story. We spent alot of time on it (practically the entire 4 month semester) and my professor (God bless her) was very thorough in her very in depth teaching of the life of Mary Shelley.

Don't know if these authors/poets are Virgos but I love them all and these were some of my best college reads ever:

E.E. Cummings - "Anyone Lived in a Pretty How Town" Words can't describe - poem
Robert Frost - "The Road Not Taken" - Poem
Langston Hughes - "I Too Sing America" - Poem
T.S. Eliot - "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" - Poem
Emily Dickinson - "My Life Had Stood A Loaded Gun" - Poem
Henrik Ibsen - "A Doll's House" - Play
William Faulkner - "A Rose for Emily" - Short story
Albert Camus - "The Stranger" - Novel
Sophocles - "Oedipus The King" - Greek Play
Bertolt Brecht - "Mother Courage"
Toni Morrison - "Song of Solomon"
Gabriel Garcia Marquez - "Chronicle of A Death Foretold" - Book
Edgar Allan Poe - "The Telltale Heart" - Short Story

Have you read any of these? Sorry I listed so many but you are bringing back the good ole memories of my English days. These are just SOME of my favorites (don't get me started girl 'cause I can go on and on...LOL) They are by far some of the finest literary works in all of history. E.E.'s poem always makes me cry and I absolutely love greek plays, Marquez and Camus' works had my head spinning, Morrison and Poe's were just downright eerie and Ibsen's is so liberating for women...uuggghhh ok, I'll shut up now.

Sure you can call me CLC πŸ™‚ everyone does

I think a lot of these products can create the same types of models, just as long as they are converted to files with extensions that can be recognized by each program. In this case, it's usually conversion into an obj. file.

Yeah--Felicity came out just as I was starting college myself, so it really comforted me.

I hated both Ben and Noel's character though, and felt she should have just dated the guy she gave her virginity to in the art studio...GOD he was sweet!!!

Friend, I love poems and plays too. πŸ™‚ I used to write poems, now I do draw a bit more instead, still write from time to time...but I still defenitely read poetry often. I have my faves too and I do know 5 of the authors you mentioned, which is pretty cool! Plays are great too, at the least the good ones. I go to watch a broadway show in classic theaters or a play in an open place at least once or twice a year. The last ones I've seen are Shakespeare, Le Miserables, and Wicked, have you seen them?

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend...and I read your response to one of my comments πŸ™‚ it is a mutual feeling friend!

CLC!

Hmm, how interesting the thought of being able to carry them as files, very convenient and very accomodating. Great thinking about the possibility of recognition.

I was talking about some fun apps ideas today with a friend, the goal these days is convenience for a lot of people...the technology area will keep on growing and at greater speed, whereas we like it or not. Hopefully, it's use will be always optional.

Felicity...haha, I never knew anyone else's name besides hers. I am terrible for names anyways (even in real life), but I will research on the info you shared to give you my opinion about it...πŸ˜‰

By the way, I read your post...the really funny one. Yep, that one. CLC, I think you would be great at Marketing. I really do. You have a talent for it friend. Seriously.

Okay, its been a long day, so I better hug my pillow.

Have good day!

ADL
p.s. I'm enjoying getting to know all of you, I appreciate your thoughts and opinions. It's nice to flow so easily in conversations with other Virgo girls πŸ™‚

ADL

Hi Amoureux πŸ™‚
How are you?

I'm glad to read things are going well with your new guy. What sign is he? (Sorry if you've already mentioned this in the thread and I missed it)
To answer your questions, I've never coloured my entire head of hair in a rare colour but I have streaked it with different colours at different times (blue, pink, red) just for fun. Also, yes I have been in love. I met a Sag who was intrigued by my aloof behaviour lol he loved to chase and I loved to run πŸ˜‰. Have you been in love before and if you have are you still friends or did you prefer to have

Oh, VV, I read The Telltale Heart every once in awhile. It is pure genius. "A ray of light as thin as a spider web" I'm paraphrasing that line. The one novel I read repeatedly is The Great Gatsby. F. Scott is my favorite writer.
