I would love to hear from you all, your experiences with Virgo instructors, trainers, teachers, lecturers and even parenting.

Currently I am employed as a Lecturer in the field of Business Information Systems.
I have my Bachelor's of Science from London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.

I am curious as to what the main attributes Virgo teachers possess.

Naw, I did my studies locally. It's just they are registered with the University across there. So having completed their requirements I get their degree.

Cajun: I am curious as to what the main attributes Virgo teachers possess.

I was a military flight instructor for about three years. In that program, I was a better teacher in the jet than in the classroom, where I could show the student rather than simply tell him how to do something.

On occasion, I've been an adjunct college instructor in psychology, history, and Microsoft products (yeah, I know, the Real Evil Empire!). Of those subjects, I like teaching history the most, since it lends itself to more analysis and interpretation, and the students generally aren't too afraid to participate in the discussions.

Same here. My favourite parts are when I can get hands on work with them done. Give them the tools and technique and encourage them to interact.
Unfortunately, only one elective out of 3 I teach involves this.

If a Virgo is not too shy or reserved, they can be excellent teachers. We make ourselves specialists in one or two areas, and that gives us the depth of knowledge it takes to be a great teacher. Plus, we tend to have a lot of enthusiasm for the things that interest us. Students pick up on both, and tend to respond in kind.

Yup I share those sentiments.

My boss is a virgo, and has a good way of teaching job-related things. She's very patient, as long as someone is making a good effort and not being wilfully difficult. When I'm trying to learn something I don't get right away, all I have to do is tell her I need to go over whatever it is again, and take different notes, etc. And she's very much on target while teaching something. Direct, clear, lots of documentation. She also has no problem saying when a skill isn't her best, or if what she's teaching is an alternative to the mainstream, etc. Not a big ego thing like she's all that, which also makes it easy to learn from her.

Yup, this description reflects me quite well.
Intentionally difficult people are the enemy in education...
Our love of perfection humbles us to admit when we don't know things or if we know that people do these same things differently.

I work for the water district in my city. My dad helped me in with his close friend, Dr. gates, a water chemist. I work within my own city patrolling the lateral lining with my truck. I call in the workers to fix leaked or old and rusted pipes from under pavements, riverbeds and homes. It's all good haha.

Alright, and do you educate the fixit fellers?
