virgos and texting/messaging??

How are virgos when it comes to messaging or texting someone they like?

My virgo crush occasionally DM's me a funny photo we'd both like on instagram and when I respond to it, I never ever see the "seen" notification underneath that all Dms have when someone opens and reads your message on the app. It's almost as if he doesnt open my message? WTF? (I dont ask a specific question so he doesnt need to respond to my msg really, but I would think he at least sees it). He's the one who always initiates the messaging yet its like hes never "seen" aka opened my responses lol. —

Absolutely normal for Virgo males. After 5 y of relationship I still get that, and I got used to it.

On the other hand, I noticed with some of my contacts, that the message is read altough there is no notification for it (whatsapp for example, no blue colour which confirms that the message has been read, though they read it).

Well on the bright side he is thinking of you. Why don't you engage him? Give him something to respond to. If he is interested or at least curious, he will respond. If you give him nothing to work with, he may take that as a sign your not.

This is from personal experience. As much as I want to chase, I find myself rationalizing my way out of it by over thinking things or waiting for cues not realising they are doing the same. Fun times :-)

I try not to ask anything in messages cause I dont wanna bore him/have him read an essay on there, we talk in person and have great convos so I try to keep my online responses light and to the point so we can catch up in person? is that bad? lol

what if there are 2 checks but they're not turning blue? what's that mean?

It means Whatsapp can 100% confirm they actually hate your soul and are ignoring you on purpose.

cause i like him but if he doesnt even read my message what is the situation then? lol. i just find it odd cause at the least he could read it....

Do your message need replies? Maybe he isn't on WhatsApp all the time? Tell him this bothers you or ask him why he doesn't.

If there are 2 checks that are grey, that should mean that the recipient received the message, but didn't read it (open it). Only when they turn blue, it should mean she/he read it. However, I have a friend to whom I sent messages and the checks remain grey, though I know she read the messages.

Also, I noticed that if I get a notification that I received a message from someone and just swipe down to read it without entering the whatsapp, it could easily leave the two checks grey, because I read the message from the main screen, without opening whatsapp. Im not sure for this one, but it could easily be so.

None of those notifications are 100% sure, so check before starting a fight over them 🙂

I would turn it off mainly bc I dont wanna see it on yours.

I think in Whatsapp if you turn your notification of "read" off then it turns off that function for everyone.

I know I can be stalkery and click the message tab to view if you did view it so to avoid that I turn it off. Maybe he did too?

Same for Instagram.
