First post here sorry if its lame.

I'm a Venus in Virgo soon to turn 19 currently 'in a thing' with a Venus in Gemini male.

He's poly and seeing another guy but I'm really into him, like love into. We a few months ago.

Recently, about a month ago, a Venus in Scorpio appeared in my life - and he's really damn charming.

While I'm not really poly myself... I've wondered if I could do it for the Venus in Gemini, he said he was okay with me seeing other people but when I met this Venus in Scorpio I just...I don't know, I backed out even though I felt that desire, bad. Like I don't know why but whenever I am with him I just get drawn in, almost completely.

I just don't know what to do.

I don't want this Venus in Scorpio to hate me though and I'm scared he will.

As a Venus in scorpio.

We don't share. We are faithful.

When in love, we will do anything for you.

And based on how you treat us, we're either your dream come true or your worst nightmare.

My man is a Virgo Venus, and he goes well with me.

Granted, I'm a Virgo sun, cancer mars.

He's a scorpio sun and mars.

Do some synastry.

My first was a Gemini Venus.

They're.... Not exactly loyal sometimes.

I'm always a Virgo Venus. And Sun. And Mercury. I really wouldn't recommend it 😢

If you're like me, I fall in love easily, but I also get hurt easily. As you get older you'll learn to protect your heart a lot more than you want to... and it won't be easy! I'm a bit older than you and I'm constantly reminding myself of lessons I should have learned a long time ago.

A study was done several years ago regarding human sexuality. They took several thousand people and showed them variations of both gay and straight porn, and measured their breathing and blood flow to their genitalia while watching the porn.

What they found was that, in almost 100% of the cases, women were equally aroused by both the gay and straight porn. Which implied that, on a physical level, women were aroused more by sexual situations.

However, in almost 100% of the cases, men were aroused by either gay porn OR the straight porn. Which implied that, on a physical level, there's no such thing as a bisexual man.

So keep this in mind before you make any major decisions: when a guy says he's bi, there's a darn good chance that he's really gay.

Further.

There's an old saying that, if you find yourself in love with two people, always go for the second: if you truly loved the first then you wouldn't have fallen for the second one.

You're only 19, which is the same age that I moved in with a girl... a terrible, terrible mistake!!!! You're going to change so much over the next 10 years, you won't even recognize yourself. So in any case, I would strongly advise against anything too serious with anyone. You will want to, but it's really just not a smart move.

In any case, my suggestion here would be to demote the first guy to "gay best friend", and give the second guy a shot. It might not be marriage, but odds are that neither will be.

I hoped to god that I would never see that article cited but I guess this is what I get for practicing astrology.

THAT. IS. NOT. TRUE. Especially the paper doesn't even fucking understand how human sexuality works. Most straight women who watch lesbian porn are aroused by it because IT IS MARKETED TOWARDS WOMEN. It focuses on how to please women far more than typical heterosexual porn is, which is marketed towards MEN.

And don't get me into the problem with measuring a man's sexuality by how turned on he is by porn. What self respecting study would measure it by that . Also the idea that bisexual men would lie about being bisexual, when BOTH THE HETEROSEXUAL AND HOMOSEXUAL community actively discriminates against them----> is absurd. This study really upsets me because it attempts to push the agenda that bisexual men don't exist. When other studies have gathered research that strongly indicates that they do.

You are glorious Shadowcat.

Also I wouldn't call a quote by Johnny Depp an 'old saying' lol. But that comes down to opinion.

To OP;

If you want to give the venus Scorp a shot and he's okay with a poly relationship then go for it. As long as he respects you and treats you well give him a chance.

Not that I really care one way or the other, but here's the summary of the study I mentioned so the OP can come to her own conclusions:

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/06/030613075252.htm

I believe the synopsis was based on a purely physical arousal, not mental or emotional. It doesn't mean that bisexual men are lying; I'm sure that they can feel love equally for both genders. But on a purely physical level, they are attracted only to men.

As for the Depp quote, he may have popularized it but it's similar to something my dad told me when I was a kid (some 30 years ago). So, to me at least, it's an old saying.

Regardless, if someone were to tell me, "I love you, but I can only love you as long as I'm having sex with other people, too", I would take that as a pretty negative sign for the relationship. Is that the type of relationship you want to be in? If you're OK with it then go for it, no one in the world has the right to judge you. It's not for ME, but we all choose the paths that we think are right for us.
