lol, I don't find it boring...

hmmm, I'm reading it for my writing class... We're studying Modernism in literature. I find it interesting as a study of literary style ... Especially sinse I read these opinion essays by Nabokov on what in his opinion makes a really good book, and how he was trashing crime and punishment, so I'm really curious to see what he does to escape some of the common literary pitfalls.

I wonder if I just read the really boring parts...hmm. I don't know....12 years old gives me a serious "ick" factor, but I might give it another try. I'm reading two (yes, two) FANTASTIC books that a very good friend of mine got for me....It's Raining Frogs and Fishes, and Wicked. The former deals with "why" things are the way they are (nature and so forth); the latter is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West. 😛

I keep switching back & forth between the two.

I'm reading two great books too. "For Love of the Game" because I love the Shaara writers and "Flowers In the Attic" because all the girls in my acting class said I would hate it. Turns out it's Heather's favorite, and she keeps asking me how it's coming along. It seems like every female on the planet has read that book. "For Love of the Game" is more to my liking, but I don't not enjoy the other.
