Yes I feel I relate more to a Taurus than a Gemini

I had a LTR with a Taurus. Nice at first! Enjoyed the peacefulness of the Taurean nature - calm and soothing to my Gemini nerves. And then..........zzzzzZZZZZ. It finally fizzled out - communication was never the best and tbh, neither was the sex. Kiss of death right there!

And we finally ended with an argument where, even though he was clearly in the wrong, he would have died rather than admit it. The Taurus stubbornness is a THING. Once they have something in their head, nothing will change it. Literally, nothing. After that, I lost patience and respect and moved on. He's with a Libra now. That should tell you something.

Honestly, I respect Geminis in general. They are very chill and and easy to have conversation with. Me and my uncle would talk about any circumstances in my life, and he would give good advices on how to solve it. But I just don't have that intimate understanding with them. We are different to the core. They may be good for friends, but not for lovers.

Every Libra I know are incredibly selfish and self-centered. Including the one my ex ended up with. The Libra's on DXP seem not that way. So perhaps there is hope! 😁

I know. My Gemini husband can't keep his hands and lips off me. I dated another Gem that was the same way. Very affectionate. Don't even get me started about how affectionate Libra men are; sometimes too much.

My experience with Taurus men has been as friends, not lovers. So I'll tell you some of the good and some of the bad about the bull as seen by someone NOT wearing rose colored "love" glasses. Look up placement of the moon, mercury and mars as those are important.

Taurus 1 - Aqua moon, Taurus mercury, Aries Venus. This guy was pretty talkative and I think it was his moon that made him like that. Very friendly. Looked at things in global terms, (moon) was a people person, (moon) artistic, creative, unorthodox (moon, moon, moon.) We could talk about a lot of things and since I have a Virgo moon I am kind of no-nonsense, practical, logical, grounded (for a gemini that is.)

Taurus 2 - Virgo Moon, Aries Venus, mercury and mars. Another talkative bull. Could be his moon or the Aries mercury. Guarded, reserved, not a whole lot of need for human interaction apart from those closest to him. Think this is due to his moon. Not a people person. Practical, logical, dependable to the max, responsible, logical, grounded, no-nonsense.

I've known more Tauruses than these two men. Anyway, one thing I've noticed about them in general (men and women) is they are very sensitive. They are also eager to even the score if they think you have slighted them or something/one they care about. Even if you had no ill intent, they don't care. They're going to get back at you somehow, someway. They'll bide their time and then blow up without first looking at the INTENT! Over time this can be very destructive.

Did I mention they're sensitive? For all their ability to "tell it like it is" they can't take shit from anyone else. Pussies. They also think they're the ONLY ones who can be brutally honest. Give a gemini time and they'll learn. The difference between us is that Gemini will tire from the argument LAST. Taurus won't change their mind, but they'll lumber off to bed and the gemini will still keep going.

Believe it or not the Taurus can be quite the egomaniac. They can rival the Leo's at this but in this case, Leo looks and sounds better doing it. And since Leo's are more interesting they have more bragging rights (sorry bulls.)

Taurus follows through. Usually a good thing.

Taurus is also (too) loyal. Not only to their significant others but their friends, clients, etc. If they're on your side, that's that. A very admirable thing. Sometimes though, they're loyal to people who don't deserve it. You'd think as adults they'd realize this but they don't. And don't you DARE point it out 'cause they'll get pissed and accuse you of trying to "drive a wedge" or some bullshit. Just stand by and watch them get burned. It's more entertaining.

You know about their stubbornness. Even when they're loosing, going down in flames, they dig their heels in. The only thing more pathetic than this is the fact that they don't see it. They just don't get it. SAD!

They're the most emotional of the earth signs, which is actually pretty nice.

They're cheap. Even when they can be creative and innovative, they'd rather do "cheap bastard" first. Do dumb shit like tie something back together with kitchen twine. Scotch tape costs money! "Can we fix it with the free rocks outside? Let's do that!"

They usually have wonderful voices and are physically attractive, even when they're not.

Known for being lazy, every Taurus guy I knew liked to keep physically fit and active. Even when they haven't moved from the couch in days they're pretty muscular.

Except when they go to extremes and end up like Orson Welles.

Don't touch their stuff. Gemini's are curious. When Taurus shows you something, you think you can touch it, handle it, admire it. But don't! It's theirs. And trust me, you don't want to accidentally break something of theirs. They have to marry you and adore you before they'll let you touch their stuff. And even then...

Most of them are possessive. This can be bad for us Gemini's. When it comes to other men, I'm married, not dead. "Look but don't touch" you know? Well if you're with a Taurus don't EVER mention that you look. They look. They notice beauty especially in the opposite sex, even if you're with them. But don't YOU dare to do it!

Taurus CAN be judgmental and often is! If what you're doing doesn't make sense to them, they're going to tell you, reprimand you, etc. Gemini hates this, so watch out.

Since you're a Gemini, you may get accused of being wishy washy, hypocritical. It's not our fault we can see two sides of an argument, etc. For the life of them, they can't. That's their problem, but do they get that? NoOooOOOoOoO!

They're always right. This is an earth sign thing. As a Gemini you may not care about being right. This could irritate them even more.

Taurus can get pretty intense, so watch out for that.

Don't fuck up their food. Don't fuck up their cup of coffee, or their glass of water. They get all pissed. Make sure it looks right, or else they won't touch it. Also, whatever they eat better be worth every penny they spent on it, otherwise they're sulking the rest of the day. I remember so many times laughing at Taurus 1 for how angry he got after spending $ 12 on some food that was good, but "not worth it" monetarily. Every time he complained I laughed.

Despite having a Virgo Moon and understanding them, I've had better luck with Taurus. I owe Taurus no. 2 my life and my sanity. I love that man.

I know a Gemini men who's always attracted to Taurus, but he's a Taurus moon and Venus, but somehow it doesn't work for him.

But never say never with astrology,

I'd say if the Taurus has air, or the Gemini has earth it can work.
