It did give me a lot of self value tho having a bit of a quiet superiority complex.

i’m from a single father home (dad divorced mom) but my mom’s been in and out of my life depending on her mood and mental/emotional stability level (off and on alcoholic) 😅 she’s a double scorpio. scorpio sun / scorpio moon
my biological mom was less than ideal but i don’t think i missed out all that much on the “mom experience” since the universe somehow blessed me with a few women who unexpectedly acted like a loving, caring mom towards me throughout my life. most notable ones being these two:
1. my non-biological mom aka our former nanny (au pair) virgo sun, aquarius moon
she’s still one of my very good friends (or more like family) till this day even though she’s like 20 years older than me lol she was everything one would picture an ideal mother to be. she came into my life when i was around five and worked for our family until i was 16 (she had to leave to take care of her sick parents). we technically didn’t need an au pair as soon as i turned 12 but i had a younger brother too and my dad needed an adult to keep an eye on us since he was working all the time.
2. my libra sun /libra moon best friend constantly acts like a mom 😅 she’ll say things like “send me pics of what you ate today so i know you’re eating healthy.” 😂 or “did you know that you’re shortening your lifespan by not sleeping enough!? how many hours are you sleeping??”😂 cuz she knows i barely sleep 😅 she’s always sending me books in the mail she thinks i might like or books that changed her life and that she wants me to read too lol

but in hindsight though, i feel like i could’ve handled the nanny situation a lot better than i did. i was 15, my mom was screaming at our nanny, our nanny was looking like she was about to cry, i had to do something so i just blurted out “mom, you can’t talk to her like that. you need to go home.”
i dunno i was just pissed cuz my mom who was always a mess when anyone needed her was screaming at our nanny who was always there for us when she wasn’t.
my mom always had a tendency to drunk call me when she needed to vent/complain about something (didn’t matter if i had to get up super early for school the next day) but was never really around when it mattered to us (also i guess cuz my dad told her not to come around too often). she has a child (my half brother) by another man she became involved with after my dad.

Cancer woman mom - Libra man son
It's never going to work out between us this is what I have realized lately
She treats me like trash, doesn't support and love me, disrespects me and use me as her toy not a human
I have tried everything but if I'm the only one trying to make this pairing work it's not going to work, I am exhausted and gave up lately
I live with her but working on myself to get my sht together so I can move out asap and live a peaceful life

My relationship with my mother has always been really well. That's likely odd coming from a Scorpio moon, since 99.9 of astrologers will say a Scorpio moons relationship with their mother is supposed to be terrible. She was never bad to me though. I mean she had her strict Leo moon side, but never beat me or made me feel like I was worthless. If anything she spoiled me, and did every single thing in her power to make me have a good childhood. Idk if that is a result of her own personal childhood and trying to compensate, but for as a single Virgo sun Leo moon mother in the 90s and 2000s I feel she did everything she possibly could to raise me. As a young adult and still wanting to have fun however, there is a ton of times she pawned me off to my grandparents, but overall she never truly betrayed me, or made me feel worthless. I give her a pass, and it's sad because sometimes she breaks down in regret like she didn't do enough. It's hard for me to show corny emotions, so I try to lightly tell her she did find, and I don't hold any type of resentment towards her. Which is true. I know she did everything she could, and I forgive her rare fuck ups and imperfections. Yet she deeply feels like she didn't do enough. I always thought living as a Leo sun with Scorpio moon was tough. I can't even imagine a Virgo sun with Leo moon.
