I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit lately. What are all your thoughts with your lives?

When I realized Pluto in Capricorn started in 2008 I was a bit shocked. I realized that is the year my marriage started having problems. This Capricorn Pluto time period was a lot of change, working through personal growth, building career and finances, buying my own place, raising my kids, divorce & dating/relationships but an always looking towards the future & not quite being able to figure it all out. Maybe that’s just life. But I’m a little relieved to be heading out of Capricorn & into Aquarius. The Capricorn has felt so heavy.

I have 3 planets in Capricorn, plus a rising. I have two in Aquarius. Maybe that’s some of it. Kids are in their 20’s, some support still but it’s more of a there for each other thing. I’m expecting Aquarius will have a different energy. Of course there will be change with my kids too. But, I’m already starting to feel lighter. Or is that the breakup? lol

Look at the house placements and it will tell you more.

When Pluto in Capricorn started & when I got divorced it was in my 12th house and my Cap mars is also in my 12th. About 2008/2009 it was like I had an awakening. I started having all these dreams exactly the same one until I started paying attention. A lot of personal growth started then got me. I thought if I fixed some things about me I’d save the marriage. Not what happened… but I guess that makes sense that I had to awaken in the middle of my 12th house.

Anyway Pluto moved into my Capricorn 1st house & I did a lot of things to continue improving myself & putting myself in a better financial position. Which makes sense. Mercury & Venus Capricorn were there in the first house. Rising on the 12th/1st house line. Aquarius is still in my first house for awhile. With my Aqua moon & Saturn in the 1st house. Seems like things are changing, like im feeling in a better place & more interested in creative stuff than financial stuff in terms of my focus .. oh & having to support someone else who won’t take care of himself & just wants to say I don’t love him enough 🤬Aka breakup.

Ugh I've been living these Pluto transits. I have 5 planets in Capricorn and my sun is in Aquarius. Ive experienced both so far since Pluto moved into Aqua for a few months.

In 2008 I was struggling as a teenager but that year changed everything for me as I moved from LA to San Diego. My Capricorn placements are all in the 4th house which is ruled by Sagittarius (IC) so a relatively far/significant move was in order.

I was immersed in a totally different culture where I was the only person of different race. I was accepted and made to feel like I belonged which was not the case with my own culture. Still lots of academic struggles. But more real life lessons than academic.

Since then I've been moving around the Western US trying to find a place I can settle. So far it seems like I've found an OK place. Now that Saturn is entering Aquarius I've been focused on my personal image and my character. More of an inward energy than the Capricorn energy which was outward.

This last retrograde transit straightened me out a lot thanks to a Capricorn coworker (coincidence?) and now i feel comfortable leaving those last 15 or so years and moving on to the next theme.

Well it’s good you’ve found a better place to live anyway. Glad you feel comfortable leaving those last 15 years behind. I’m ready too. A Capricorn coworker has caused lots of trauma for me over the last 6 months. I’m ready to retire 🤣🤣 not financially but mentally & not old enough. Ugh! Think I’m ready for the next phase though. The last month has been horrendous with breakup like a big blowup and then arguments after. Now it’s time to do what’s good for me!! My moon is really saying so lol

It's a transitory energy. You will be much the wiser afterwards. Hard lessons are the most effective.

Very true. I’m really feeling it I know. I’m ready for the Aquarian in me 🙂

Pluto started in my 5th house on top of my Mars and Neptune.

Super toxic relationships but amazing sex.

Landed job of my dreams at 21 and worked with the government. Laid off 5 years later. Had a miscarriage. Struggled to figure out where my passion was. I took on lots of different contract positions and hated them all. Hated the people I worked with. I felt misunderstood by everyone.

When pluto went into my 6th house it was a stark contrast. The sex is garbage 😭 but I started making a lot more money. I am definitely more respected in my career but I am pushing myself to the point of burnout. I am trying to manage that now. My focus went from romantic relationships to career/wealth.

I guess it will eventually enter my 7th house and relationships will be the focus but I’m kind of afraid since I haven’t been able to keep the benefits of each transit. Do I want a loving partnership if I’m going to be poor and having bad sex? ☹️

Maybe in the 7th house the sex will be good & a partner who’d be doing well financially? Think positive maybe? I think sex is just different with each partner, it’s just part of how you relate to each other that makes it great or not. I have to say I always do better financially by myself, but it’s possible to be different than that. Just has to part of your requirements.

I have a sagg rising but a big 1st house so the 1st halve of my house is sagg my other halve is Capricorn

My childhood was terrible and rather surviving feeling constricted and judged until after Saturn left my 1st house i felt like i could be myself. saturn is in my 2nd house in aquarius so it had a huge impact on me almost plutonian together with pluto in my 11th house

You made me think about Saturn & I looked up where it is in my chart right now. I know when it was in Capricorn I was having a very tough time, but learned a lot. Aquarius was easier, but I chose to be more distant from relationships. Most of that was in my 1st house. My Saturn is now in 2nd house in Pisces for the last year. Hmmm that makes the last year & relationship make some sense. Some serious change evolved over the last year.. similar to what you said about the 2nd house.

2nd house also has to do with self worth

Hmm 2008 you say…

I gotta read my journal to see what was going down then

I did a lot of hobbies. A lot

Some got me a little recognition but nothing really concrete

I’ve only wanted two things since I started making wishes as a little girl: 1. To be famous 2. To be in a relationship

I’ve yet to accomplish either of those two things and your girl has been trying.

So it sucks when people get famous for laughing in a Chewbacca mask

That was a very interesting trip down memory lane.

I found out that I’m still complaining about the same things but I have gotten smarter on how I deal with men.

In2008, I was so infatuated with this Libra sun, Scorpio moon guy but we were plagued by his mixed messages

I actually think he’s married now

I have noticed that after one sign of a mixed message or anything I deem as game play, I go the opposite direction hard. I no longer go towards the guy. He actually never sees me again.

2008. Let me see. What was happening at the time…

Obama got elected.

I was 27.

I think some hobby started. Like my new found love for silent and classic movies. But I don’t think anything happened to me. It wasn’t until a few ears later that I started to say “enough is enough” and I started to stand up to my family. Show them that they were done bossing my 28/29/30 year old ass around. They were done making me hold my tongue.

I’m a Gemini and my sun is in the 11th house. That’s Aquarius. I discovered that a little bit ago.

aah nothing much happened with me in 2008. I miss those days when my hair couldn't stop growing long asf. The day when me and my then wifee and my then female Aries co worker went to the polls together to vote and we all was cracking hard on this old tall man (he must've been about a good 6'8 at the most. Yes he voted too) because of his high water pants and green socks and when he sit down to cross his legs nothing but legs and green socks. Obama won that year of course. I forgot who was his competitor. I used to babysit my Virgo niece at that time she was only 4 she's all grown up now, driving up and don't even live in this state anymore.

I only got Capricorn Jupiter and north node is in it too, I believe.

Capricorn is my 9th and 10th. Checks out. Wasted it by my own person standards. Learned alot but overall very disappointing. I could have and can do better.

Aqua is 11th. Just psyche there. Ill be looking for more people like me. Which are very rare and we aren't usually out in the open nor advertise. My social skills are introverted to boot.

Going to focus on career and use spare time to search.

Interesting. In 2008 I decided to finally give into the chase and got into my first relationship. It’s not easy for me to get into relationships because I can read people easily and I find 95% of people not romantically compatible. That relationship lasted a year and gave me all the lessons for life. After that I realized not to get into frivolous relationships. Either the person has everything I look for, I don’t budge. The year 2008-2010 have been nothing but edifying experiences where I really grew and reformed.
