Aqua's & The 'M' Word

My neighbor just proposed to his GF the other week - Then I find out he is an Aqua & she is a CANCER!

As far as I have heard this is unusual - Is this right?

Mr Aqua Man & I went to wedding recently - the first one he has been to and about the 6th one for me thou. For the rest of the weekend Mr man is talking Marriage and saying we should get married cause they need to keep his Family line.

I think its strange that he keeps talking marriage & then if it gets serious, bolts at the idea.

So do Aqua's find marriage scary? Or natural?

hmmm...my aqua has talked marriage and enagagement with me quite a few times, but nothing has happened yet. i think my aqua does scare himself out of it half the time! and i am a cancer by the way...so it's nice to know that there are other cancer/aqua couples out there that have reached that point 😉 gives me hope!!!

Yup there is hope - these two are perfect together as well 🙂 she takes what he says half the time in good humour 😉

shizy, i don't know if i agree with you on that. i am sure there are many married aquarius men out there, and i don't think those are their motives for getting married.
however, he can wait forever if you let him. but, that goes for a lot of men in general.

pisces...my aqua and i have been together for a few years now and we have been long distance for the last 7 months. he asked me 4 months ago to move out to where he is, but i told him that i need a ring on my finger first. so, here i am still waiting. he said that he is going to get me a ring before i move out and we are now talking about me moving out within the next 2 months. so, if that doesn't happen, i must move on.

we have talked about marriage for a while now. we have talked about the type of wedding we would like to have, what age we want to get married at, having children, etc.
the problem is he has told me he is in no rush to get married. and he wants children, but also...not anytime soon. and to be honest, i don't think i am ready for marriage and children quite yet. it all still scares me a bit!!!

Why must a womans relationship with their significant always measured down to whether or not a man has put a her a ring on her finger.

SF .. that sounds like the Aqua men I know, also. One married for financial security .. the other because he thought the woman to be good seeding ground for his offspring.

Risk Management. We dont like to fail...divorce is relationship failure. Everything has to be right...EVERYTHING, for the most part.

Think it comes down to the guy you are dating not the sign hey - If you attract guys that are non commital maybe do some soul searching and find out why?

I dont think Aqua guys marry for money or cause they spread there seed & fucked up hey. One of the very fine Aqua guys I know loves his marriage & his wife & AFTER they got married they had a baby. they are in love.

My Aqua man has been a bad boy & almost lost me altogether - I moved interstate & all - but when it comes down to Love - we love each other - he tells me so every mornin, durring the day & when I get home. And he proves it to me time & time again. We are a team & we are friends. Thats what it is all about - putting up with there crap & cooking them food (cause boys love a good meal.
If tomorrow I say I hate him & never want to talk to him again well thats life & he would have had to do something pretty fucked up for me to go that far you know.

Anyone who has or is in love knws it & should have a pretty good Idea about there partner too.

True Starfish - Its sad is what I was saying - I dont think youll dissagree with that hey.

Eventially half the women who have a hubby who doesnt love them get there hearts broken when they leave them - Thats sad - for the kids mostly - to me its more selfish to stay cause she is pregnant than to tell the woman the truth that you dont love them. I mean the guy can still do the right thing by supporting her financially but at least she gets a chance to have real love with someone else.

I dont know really - its a hard one to call & I am glad that I havent had to go thru that.

It is because they take it really "serious". Like I said in the other thread, when these guys says "I do", they really mean "till death do us part". They always think ahead and try to see if there is any potential problem with their marriage. If they feel like they cannot live up to the commitment, they will just back out (e.g. they do not love the girls enough, they will not be able to support a family financially, family/friends disapproval, etc...). I know it's pretty ridiculous to think that way, but that how they operate.

Yet, they do marry out of feeling reponsible for something (like making the girl pregnant), but would we rather have men like that or the ones that just run away and refuse to take any reponsibility?

About the money part, most of my aquarian friends are well-off so to think that they marry for finanical reasons is pretty weird for me.

But I guess everyone is different. I feel lucky to know some awesome aquarians such as my friends.

-YES!!! i definitely see this in aqua guys. it is a good thing that they take it seriously, because marriage should be taken very seriously and most people get married like it's nothing. but, i do feel that sometimes aquas think too ideally, and if one little thing goes wrong, or if there is one tiny arguement...then they think twice about a commitment.

I love mr aqua man - hes the best thing in my life & my best friend & a great shag! Woo hoo! we have been talking allot about marriage as of late. I told him the best way to get me to say yes thou is to surprise me that way I dont have a chance to make him change his mind - cause I will bring out all the points like hummm We could put a deposit down on a house for the price of a wedding & 1 out of 3 marriages end up in divorce etc

But yeah I agree with u aqua_guy - I dont think Aqua dudes are as mean about marriage & they make play out to be.

The funny thing noticed, is how much mr man gets into life - its not about the chicks & getting drunk so much anymore - its more about the quality of life & his mates than anything else. Think right now he would be more likely to have an affair with his surf board than a woman. thats not to say he is not interested in people in general - he likes meeting new people, just has a hard time staying in touch with them - ha.

I know quite a few slut Aqua males - most of them are between the age of 18 - 25 which is about right for any guy. thats not to say if they dont find the righ tgirl & its good time for them they wont get married & be faithful. Some of the Aqua dudes I know really look down on affairs & girls who spread there legs allot - like it really disgusts them. High morals just a little up themselves about it sometimes. Ha - Liek they are so great for being so good! lol

-- Ya, aquarians do that often. Always testing things, always thinking, always trying to make sure things go well. Sometimes they think too much that they end up not doing anything, lol

-- many were called, but only a few were chosen, lol. Aquarians are friendly to everyone, but they are pretty selective about who are their "true" friends. Even those "true" friends have a hard time to stay in touch with the aquarians. Most Aquarians have so many different interests that keep them so busy.

-- aquarians live their lives according to a set of "codes", even though they do make up the codes themselves. And they will change their codes to fit with the situations. It's not like they bend the codes to benefit themselves. If they change a code, it usually because they have discover that that code is no longer valid in their current situation. Analytical by natures, they don't believe in "one size fits all" codes. That's why most people think aquarians are eccentric. Nope, they are not. They are just don't care much about what the world think. To them, live up to their codes are the most important thing!

Sounds like my aqua friend....we were talking about marriage too in general. He works a lot and says he's not planning on getting married anytime soon. Most of the people he works with are not married - nor are the majority of his managers in his field of work, which he is working towards. And long as that is the case he feels good with his bachelorhood!

Funny boys.....though i do notice this every time he sees me he looks at my ring finger...Ahhh what would we do without these guys.

Shizy, Hello 🙂 I do hope ur Aqua man gives u a ring! I have seen a few Aqua Guys happily married now & its always good seeing any happy couple!

I used to think I wanted to marry Mr Aqua but over the last few months I am getting back to my old self who is pretty against the whole marriage idea - Since I was a kid I said I dont want to get married of have children .... Ever! but of course as you get older ye old body clock kicks in & you start thinkin awww might be nice to make a little family .... BLAH to that! I am too selfish still ... I LOVE MY FREEDOM!!!
