Calling all AQUAS.. do you do this too—

Hi, im posting this regarding my aqua boyfriend...

Background: Weve been together for 4 1/2 years.. He absolutley loves me (actually shows and expresses it to me) He even told me whilst drunk that we hoped we'd be getting engaged next summer.. etc.....

SO, WHAT I NOTICED IS THIS.. WHENEVER HE IS BUSY, OR HAS THINGS TO DO.. HE TOTALLY COMPLETELEY SHUTS ME OUTS.. HE DOESNT CONTACT ME, ETC... HE HAS 2 DRIVING TESTS COMING UP AND STUFF AND HES BEEN NOT TLKING TO ME EVERSINCE HES STARTED STUDYING..WHICH TAKES A WEEK-OR TWO. HOWEVER, WHEN HE HAS EVEN A MINUTE.. HE HANGS OUT WITH HIS BEST-GUY FRIEND.. LIKE, DONT U AQUAS WANNA SEE THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE TOO?? IS IT EASY TO GO LONG WITHOUT SEEING YOUR PARTNER........

This is perfectly normal of Aquarians.

I'm the exact same way with my husband. I don't need to see him every day or every 5 minutes in order for me to feel that our relationship is secure.

I don't necessarily mind seeing him every day either, BUT is it absolutely necessary for me? No. It's nothing personal though. It's just that Aquas have a "loner" attitude sometimes

It's not that you've done something wrong or pissed us off...sometimes we just like to be off to ourselves. And sometimes the only "me time" we get is when we're out doing the strangest things like running errands or anything else that others usually don't do alone.

Trust me, if he was doing this as a result of emotional disconnect on his end, you'd know b/c not only would he be shutting you out when he's busy, but he'd also be this way when he's not.

If he's still treating you well & is very attentive to you, he's still emotionally connected to you. You have nothing to worry about

This is just another 1 of those things about us that you'll have to accept & not take so personal.

I do this all the time. It's not that I don't care or don't want to see them. I just like getting things done and out of the way so that I have more time for the relationship. Every single girl I've been with has asked the same question over and over and I tell them just that. On some occasions I just text a winky smiley face out of the blue. Kind of my way of saying I'm thinking about them while I'm doing whatever.

husband? didnt you jus tell me yu had a bf not too long ago. Not unless you call your bf yur husband. Am I wrong?

And back to the topic: I do this too. This is why it's hard to juggle 4-5 ladies at a time.
Sometimes I wont talk to none of them. I want my space.

Dude I've been married for many years now.

In previous posts, I've either referred to my husband as a "boyfriend" before we were married or was referencing someone I was with in the past

Yep, I do this too. I try not to do it in a way which leaves the other person thinking I've disappeared for no reason. i might say "Honey, I've got loads of stuff to do, if I don't do it it will play on my mind and ruin our together time, so I'm taking a few days to get things done but I'll call you to say goodnight at the end of the day".

I don't think my Taurus man likes it very much, but he's accepted it's part of the relationship, the same as I've accepted his oddities.

I'm 37, have always done this, will never change it either. Get used to it 🙂

I have a bad habit of doing this too. When I am really focused on something, I forget I'm even in a relationship. When I am really focused, the only thing that exists to me is the goal.
