GAY PRIDE!

I went to the gay pride social & parade this weekend, and omg these people are crazy. I went to support my aqua roomie, and my bf went for his brother. There was a cool show from Cirque de soleil, and just the most amazing cross dressers.

...ok so the funny part, me & my bf wake up from a 4 hour nap & go upstairs, so find a pink bra on the table, a wig, 2 stillettos & 3 runners, and 2 empty 40 ouncers of vodka! 5 boys!!!!!!!!!!! what pride!

The hardest part was these gay guys are so touchy and compliment sooo much. They were hugging me and being so fun at the after party. Good thing my scorps not jealous of gay men! lol

I didn't feel awkward or out of place at all! The only bars I go to are gay bars, actually. Everyone is so friendly and fun. I'd way rather be there than some pick-up line meat market with $ hitty music and everyone sizing each other up.

Primegen I posted it on here, cuz as I mentioned earlier it I went to support my AQUA roomate. However, the thing about the parade it that they ARE different and act different most of the time. I also find them very interesting and could honestly say that the parade was the funniest/funnest parade I've ever been to. Hence, there is a good reason to have it. They are discriminated against...from picking on to violent murders to this group BECAUSE they are gay.

That is pathetic, I know, but it happens and no one should feel that way because on their sexual preference. This is not only a parade for these people, but awareness & acceeptance.

I don't nessarily think this is the way to live, but we don't have to love what they do, we can respect them as human beings. Many people choose disrespect them. If someone disrespects me, I stand firm and make sure they know who I am, and why they can fukk off and mind their own business. This is their way of doing it.

For the record 2 of my bestfriends (they were cousins) got raped by their grandpa when they were kids, trust me, I know what it does to people. It's a nightmare. Don't toss in stupid remarks like that.

No because neither children nor animals are consenting parties. Gay men are, on the other hand, consenting individuals who happen to be attracted to other men and so they should be allowed to have relationships with eachother without being condemned, criminalised or ridiculed as they have been in the not too distant past. This is probably the inspiration for these parades. Of course today, gay men are widely accepted in society or at least tolerated by those who still can't accept the homosexual act itself.

I personally have nothing against polygamists who live in a culture where this is tolerated legally. In western society it isn't and therefore there can't really be people parading it or they'd just be arrested. I don't envy polygamy for the men or the women, especially as an Aqua where I'd want a lot of time to myself 😉. They could though have a "Players Parade" which is simply Polygamy without a marriage certificate! But I don't think most players would be proud enough of themselves to organise such an event.

Anyway regarding gay men themselves, I have a similar view to Bran in that I don't get the way some women like to hang out with gay men and dote over them like they're their best friends and talk about make up and hair and stuff. I fid it all a bit silly and annoying. I just think that gay men are humouring these kinds of women because they say all the right things to them and behave like good looking male air-heads. It's fine as a superficial flimsy level I guess but I don't like those kinda of stupid friendships that are mainly for appearance. But then this is purely a personal opinion and remark.

Gays shouldn't have any special rights. They should just re-word the bit that says that there are only heterosexual poeple in the population so as to include people of a homosexual orientation. Thereafter heteorsexuals and homosexuals are equally liable to the word of LAW.

No it doesn't. It re-defines the one class of model member of the poluation as being either heterosexual or homosexual.

Um not really, it's just adjusting the qualifying grounds for marriage. I personally don't agree that just because a person's culture allows for them to have multiple concurrent partners that the law should allow for it. It contradicts the essential definition of marriage as a bond between 2 people (they should be homosexual or straight) but it only holds for 2 people, any more and the rest of the legal implications collapse.

YA stay in Ireland you can even smoke in the pub anymore. I bet gays cant even smoke in the pubs. By the way how many palm trees do you have in your yard?
