How do you feel about Tarot reading? (open to everyone)

I'm an aqua and 2 of my friends (Pisces and Cancer women) have gotten their Tarot read this week.

They don't really talk to each other so they don't know but they are both my best friends and they both came to me with the same thing this week.

I heard a lot about Venus retrograde making you question a lot about yourself and relationships, and they are both going through relationship issues at the moment.

Personally, I don't like to do that because is trying to find out what's going to happen in the future and sometimes they tell you what to do and not to do.. but how can you be sure it is the right option?

Anyway...how do you feel about it?

In the Holy Bible the Egyptian king (small k; Only Jesus has the capital "K" as he is "King") asked Joseph (Prophet) to interpret his dreams. I feel it's Okay to have your tarot cards read. I, myself, can read my tea leaves (coffee cup) and there's a same difference 😄

I have the utmost respect for tarot card readers as they are "gifted" -- just like Joseph was.

I'm sure they are gifted and is an amazing thing to be able to see into someone else's future.

I'm just thinking about with so many impostors out there is hard to tell who is actually saying the truth.

And, how do you feel about knowing what will happen?

I had the cigar smoke read (I don't know how that's named in English) but back in my country when I was 14 I went to a lady who made me smokea cigar and told me my future.

I was probably skeptical so I don't remember everything she said but she mentioned some things that I realized actually happened later.

But, I wasn't anxious about it. I see my friends now get anxious about what they were told.

It can be helpful guidance and advice sometimes. How you interpret it and how it speaks to you shows what you should do.

I have cards I got months ago but I don't do it much as I feel it drains my energy.

I see.. that I didn't know. what I heard from one of my friends was very ambiguous so I wasn't sure if the person was a actual Tarot reader.

What I did and found very helpful was to have my chakras read, he told me which were unbalanced, how it was affecting my life and health, and what I could do to balance them. He was right on with all the personal issues I was having and how they related to my health at the moment as well.

I'm more focuses into being a better person and trusting that that will help me recognize opportunities and make good decisions, I'm also very intuitive so that helps.

I do want to have the cards read, I just don't know how I will take what I hear about my future.

What do you think? am I worried for no reason? Would you read them to me? I would trust you.

To me, tarot reading's like a mirror for you to look at yourself and situation.

So you see tarot collectives show a course, you can work through some points you find important or change altogether.

However,

Funny story, I once did a reading for myself when I was trying to get intimate with someone a while back and 10 of swords just freakin flew out all the time. Like everytime I shuffled, lmao

Before he came into the room.

The next day at our discussion about what happened the prev night, he went like "I sense there may be somekind of ghost here"

Because honestly, we both didn't come on.

Lol at his excuse.

50% chance, there is indeed an apparition

50% chance, we just simply didn't feel any deep connections to each other.

I'm not very sure about what the 10 of swords mean but I'm sure he sensed your energy flowing !!

Amazing! I'm intuitive and sensitive to energies, but I've never thought of trying to read the cards. how do you know you can do it?

Yes, I have heard about the "cigar" reading as mostly it is from Cubans and or Puerto Ricans. In the Hispanic/Mexican heritage (community) it is called curandero/curandera (spiritual healers); but the latter read tarot cards, while I knew an African American woman who read poker cards. I was "curious" and read my own poker cards (Googled the interpretation) and it was spot on! It said two/three times I was expecting an important document in the mail (February; my drivers license and my form for tax purposes).

You're anxious because you're "curious" and about "imposters" -- you'll know to stay away from them.

About your question -- reading my own tea leaves (coffee cup) it was so vivid, girl! I saw a bull (Taurus), I saw a guardian angel with beautiful wings watching over me as I slept, I saw me spooning with a "guy", we were kissing in another, I saw a "turtle" (patience), and I saw well, the anatomy of the male (penis; huge! So I know this Taurus man will be well endowed) 😈 My reading to myself was done back in December 2016; well, it takes three days, three weeks, or three months; from reading for this to "occur" as you know by now. It's March!!! It will happen this month and I get butterflies just thinking about it! I get busy with work, life, family, bills, etc., that it will happen when it happens! I EVEN dreamt about him...he was starring at me and he has a tattoo on his chest.

The person who read your chakras sounds like the real deal. The one time I visited a psychic, she was really vague and also told me that my chakras were unbalanced. Then she proceeded to tell me that she'd help me balance them again....for $ 700. Pretty sure she was more in it for scamming vulnerable people. I think chakras can be balanced through meditation and eating healthy/consistently sleeping well.

It's understandable that you're hesitant in seeing what the cards say for you. I wouldn't say that the cards really predict a definite future; it's more of advice on what you should do or things you should work on. The future can be fluid imo depending on your free will. The cards can tell you about how you're feeling about a situation, maybe something that you don't really see yourself or another point of view.

I can try reading for you, but disclaimer, I'm still very much a beginner but I can pull some cards for you and tell you my interpretation based on my feeling and intuition as well as send you the names of the cards so you can read about the card meanings online.

Wait.. He could sense my energy flowing? Yeah tbh at that time we were both rebounding on each other lol. The energy of the broken hearts. Yeah we should really pass through the healing period before trying anything new. Sigh..

Well I'm no expert but hey lemme tell ya somethin', I found that tarot can also enhance or exercise your intuition and/or at least analytical skill while processing the interpretation.

When do I know when I can do it? When I witness the reality of it. Lol I just need to see it to believe it.

I also got like once while reading a guy and he got 9 of wands, in my mind he was on strongest defense or simply at his last reserve. Fast forward, he fled without a goodbye.

Hhh... (is kay, I've got my karma already for that)

Relationships... Oh too hard for me sometimes lol. That's why i read about the topic from time to time (darn my libra venus).

I think you should try it if you're sensitive to energies. It's a good medium.

Oh..thats not good. well some people are very sensitive and if you two weren't healed emotionally, that could cause some sort of blockage. Sometimes I'm around people and I can feel some weird energy flow, my heart usually beats faster.

My sister feels this too, but most of the time she thinks is a ghost. lol

sometimes some things just don't work out for the best.

Yeah, same here, I've been having issues finding someone I feel comfortable with, mostly after a long relationship I had of 12 yrs that ended 1 yr ago. I just let things flow naturally, that way I'm not overthinking about it either.

Yes, it was a good place, he explained a lot of things and also sent me my birth chart, and a report also with list of meditation exercises, foods to eat, and a list of sacred beads I could wear to balance my chakras.

I have done the mediation and I have usually been eating healthy, all I need is to get the beads but since I'm aware of which chakras are unbalanced I try my best to work on those situations mentally and spiritually.

I have quite an unusual view on tarot readings.

I believe that fate is something that you will never know about, purely because what is written for you is written for you and you cant change that. Getting a tarot reading, may give you some insight, but it will never tell you the full story.

Theres nothing wrong with getting one done, I didn't believe in Astrology until I started posting on DXP. And I have typed my details in on the net and the information I got back was astonishing. It described me down to a tee, my personality, emotions, how I behave etc.

If the tarot reader tells you what to do or not to do, it will be your choice at the end of the day.

Just take it with a pinch of salt.

Its been a long time since I used my tarot cards but I remember always gaining insight clairity to certain situations and I loved doing my friends as well till a point I couldn't tell if I was making it happen happen from drawing random cards and manifesting the events or if I really was predicting the future. Anyways when I stopped playing with tarot cards the frequency of happenings diminished.

someone told me we have these angels that follow us around like cosmic entities, when you go to a psychic they have a good relationship with their angel and so when you ask the psychic a question apparently they ask this "angel" and that's how they know shit. Pretty cool

Yes, I hadn't seen it that way I'm glad I asked. now I have a different perspective and if some people have that gift then there must be a reason for it. 🙂
