I'm starting to believe...

I'm a damn fool... I have this Aqua Ex.. That no matter how far, what we do, where we are, etc find our way back to each other...

We never break up bad.. It's usually an unanimous decision..

I'm still pretty cool w/ his family.. & I'm the only GF they've every met ( because they live overseas).. & anytime they come to the US... They always ask to link up.. Even knowing that him and I aren't together..

Another thing.. I'm pretty tight w/ his mother.. We speak probably every weekend or so...

But anyway.. Idk.. He has done some pretty harsh things to me in the past.. And I've gotten my revenge ( This was when we were teens)..

Now.. I just feel like WHY?? No matter what new relationship I try to get in.. I just can't get deeply involved b/c it's like this magnet.. That draws me and my ex back together..

I'm a little fed up w/ it but I think it's me at fault..

Any Aqua's had this happen to them before?

I couldnt let go of this other Aqua girl for years. Everytime we saw each other we just hit the reset button.

Being friends with mum is practical for a daughter in law, but a bit unsexy for a girlfriend.

It looks like something inside you is not convinced he's not the one! What stops you trying to have a proper relationship? If he's doing the "harsh things" again......it will be easier to get over him.....that nagging thing inside you will shut up 😄!

IMO you'll have to decide if you can be friends with boundaries.. not calling the mother and vice versa as much.. or cut all contact.

My ex Virgo.. His parents / family never had met a gf of his before and they also live in Europe..so when we ended our ltr... his mom did everything to get us back together.. I was like a daughter to her.. As sweet as it was.. the constant contact became too much. I still call her for her birthday & Xmas but that's as far as it goes.

For me cutting contact was best. We couldn't be friends and the constant on and off.. it was too much.

As for why.. I think it's because it's easier.. It's familiar.. You know what to expect and you got used to the dynamics.

Pisces w/ Aries moon.. (Water & fire like you)

He's an Aqua w/ Scorp moon.. ( seem like all the Aquas I've dated has this pair or Aqua w/ lib moon)

See.. I want to get to that point where I can say I have a new guy he's good to me etc... I'm talking to this Pisces guy he's pretty nice.. So hopefully if I work out with him.. I can leave mister Aqua and his fam for good

I don't think I've met one with a Scorpio moon yet. Sounds interesting though. Might be scary lol.

Well hopefully you do hit it off with this new guy. Ive reached the point now where I only talk to the mom. I feel she's lonely though. She seeks out talking to me. She also did sort of semi raise me. So it feels like she's family, similar to your situation. Ive known her since I was 17. It sucks when you're with someone for so long.. you make those relationships and connections with the family. If you don't end up together you're losing everyone.
