My life is not mine anymore

I'm not sure if anyone can help, but here it goes. I'm an Aquarian in a relationship with a Scorpio for almost 8 years, and it's not working and never really has. I've been able to deal with the drinking,jealousy,the control,and the crazy-making behaivor up until this point, but I can't do this anymore-I deserve better. I've left before ,but have always forgiven him-I don't want to do this again. I'm a nurse and feel sorry for him. How do I leave and never look back. I used to be a very strong person. Any advice is aprreciated.....

As a fellow Aquarian who was once involved with a Scorpio, I can sympathize with you! But if you have a chance..RUN!
I was with that Scorp for 5 years and thought I was madly in love. Until the day I opened my eyes along with my heart
and realized I was merely used to having him in my life because I didn't think I deserved better. At some point in that
relationship, he nearly destroyed my self-esteem..and self-worth. However, one day I met someone else and I realized
that I deserved more and was missing out on a meaningful relationship and life! So I said enough is enough. I evaluated
what and whom deserved to be in my life. They day I decided I to free myself from his poison was the day I finally began
to live again. It's been 5 years since then and I was lucky enough to have a meaningful relationship and have a child
with a man who truly loved me and gave me the respect I deserved.

Presently the father of my child and I are no longer together(ironically related to past trust issues with the ex-scorpio),
but we remain friends and good parents. I had to learn so many things about true love and how to nourish it, which eventually
took its toll on the newer relationship. However, even though I don't have the perfect life right now, I'm glad I took the step
to change my life and learn what love is all about. (i.e. giving and recieving it!
Love yourself Denise--the strengh comes from there first..the rest follows.

Dear Denise,
I was married to a Scorpion for 20 years. We raised four children and I must say that the marriage was doomed from the beginning.He was very controlling, a drinker and had many mood swings.I would always take him back because he promised he would change and I thought I needed to try and keep the family together. I was WRONG! I learned the true meaning of family and SELF-RESPECT. We were a much better family without him in it. The household was much more peaceful. I gained my self-respect back and I never will settle for less than my heart's desire. Feeling sorry for him will only give him the crutch to continue his terrible behavior. I don't think you would tolerate that kind of behavior from a patient..now would you?

Why is it that Aquarians and Scorpios are so incompatible, yet thoroughly drawn together. I've been pondering that fact for years, and I finally figured it out. It has to do with the rest of the houses and the planets in them at the time of birth. Your Sun signs aren't the only indicators. I'm friends with an Aquarian (like me) who has a Scorpio Rising sign, where I'm is Saggie. It's a potent combo (especially since both of us have Neptune in Scorpio). That's another thing. I pretty much loathe all Scorpios (except for one man who I work with who is the exception to the Scorpio rule). Scorpios are secretive, manipulative and very possessive. Once someone is possessive with me, I'm done. My Aquarian friend is a quite complicated. He's independent, yet possessive (cuz of his Scorpio Rising sign), which drives me up a wall. I've been trying to end our relationship, out of a sheer quest for sanity, yet he keep reeling me back in to make up and keep our friendship going. It's an Aquarian who will always save a friendship, but if possessiveness is present, most times we all run. I think it's safe to say, Aquarians and Scorpios should just agree to disagree, shake hands and go their separate ways. While Scorpios are strong people Aquarians can learn from, they threaten the very inner soul of Aquarians, who are free spirits. A Scorpio will try to pin you down no matter what. That's their sole purpose in a relationship, and once they do that, if a Scorpio gets bored....god help the Aquarian who has a tender heart. I personally have HAD IT UP TO MY EYEBALLS with Scorpios! Enuff if enuff!

Denise, I would suggest to you that you move on. That title you gave your email "you're life is no longer your own". That has a lot to do with the planets right now. Aquarians are being called to stand up for themselves right now, steer their lives to a direction of glory and independence. It's our time to shine Denise. Be strong and confident that you DO DESERVE BETTER! Why? Cuz you definitely do deserve better. We all do. Look thru the past a find out where things went wrong, take with you the good things, and move on to a higher plane. You will meet someone else who will not only be better for you, but will make you realize that the union between two people is a cosmic thing that happens for a reason. And here's a little bit of advice. When you find someone who you think is a "match" for you on all levels (love, passion, communication, power, etc.), get a "chart" done up for both of you. Find the links and threads that connect you with this other person. If 9 out of 10 threads tie and knot, work hard at that relationship. If only 5 out of those threads tie, think twice, cuz working at an incompatible relationship is hard and a big waste of time (and it's devastating to the heart and soul), and it only lowers self-esteem. It's not a "cold" thing to say that you can't make a relationship work, it's a "mature" thing (not selfish) to think that you deserve better and need to find the right person (or situation, cuz this pertains to areas of career and friends too - where family you have to think and try harder, cuz you don't get to choose your blood). Denise, I really know where you are comming from!! I always seem to be attracted to men that are under the sign of Scorpio.I have been in your spot more than once! I know all about the jealousy,and control,and making you feel bad about yourself. Girl... let him go you caint fix itand its not your fault,and who's giving you compassion or feeling sorry for you—Not him i can bet! But I do feel bad for you girl!! Because I have been there and you know what leaving him would make your life better.Aquarians and Scorpios dont mix trust me I was married to one for 5 years,dated another for another for another 5 years.Both were controling jealous men!! I will not ever have a relationship with another!!!RUN while you can girl!!!

They're too many starfish in the sea to sell yourself short for so long. If you don't get counseling or get out fast, you're an idiot or just a self-sabateur. Move on. Believe me, there's lots of possibilities out there.

Scorpios can be controlling. NEVER argue, but be honest. Break up with him PERMANENTLY!
