If you have had a conversation with anyone with the following handles:

...then you have only been talking to one person, who posed as all these different people for at least the last 7 months.

I only alert you to this because I believe in the truth, and through my research as well as others', this has been discovered as the truth.

I'm still trying to determine if the IP addresses are 100% reliable in determining if one person has posted under all of these usernames. Suzy-Q has told me that she has only posted under these usernames: SUZYQ, WONDERBOX, YOUR MOTHER, SUNFLOWER.

It could be possible that someone IP addresses are being reused by people's ISP. If this is the case then some people are being wrongly accused.

I only bring this up because I can't guarantee the IP address - username connection as being 100% reliable. And I don't want more problems to arise out of people being falsely accused.

If I have falsely accused anyone, then my apologies to that person. I will stand corrected in the event that I've been wrong.

Whooaaa, wait a minute....I don't know about the numbers--they used to be designated to each poster from what I remember, but I can tell you this, there is only one Sloane and that's me! Maybe Duncan himself can explain all of this?

And PS, Kenny G, it bothers me that you have to acknowledge my name--it's like your "pointing a finger". I would NEVER go under another assumed name on DXP because I see no use for it. I'm sure that in a short matter of time Duncan will probably clear this all up.

Okay, now I know what Phoenix is talking about--I just clicked on the numbers next to my name for both of my messages and yes, it does give you different names like Aqua, Wonder box, etc, and I wondered how this would be as well. I don't know how the system on DXP works--I guess only Duncan himself could explain. I clicked on Phoenix's and Kenny G's numbers and it gives you a rundown of all of thier recent postings--just like mine but thier names are listed consecutively like they should, so, Duncan.....What's going on——!!! I only apply messages as myself--NO ONE ELSE!

sloane, I am so, so, so sorry about all this. Whatever the explanation is, I don't quite understand it, but I think dxp said something to the effect of it possibly being a matter of certain users' internet service providers "reusing" other members' IP numbers...so it makes it look like they're going under all these different names when they may not be, it may just be certain computers make it seem that way. I really am truly sorry to have jumped to conclusions the way I did...paranoid moment I guess. I said this on another thread, but I think the reason I jumped the gun is because I knew for a fact she had 4 different names, and then seeing a bunch more under her IP number led me to believe that she had like 12 additional ones too. :/ ...I feel like a big ass, and I'm really sorry. You can smack me if you'd like, I would deserve it.

No problem Phoenix. I'm sorry to hear that someone on this site was not upfront and honest with you--it would make me suspicious too.

I haven't talked to you in like forever! I wondered if you were still around here. I was sooo confused by this whole deal. I am so glad you are real!! Good to know you are still around on the board too! Hope things are going well for you.
