Please decipher text from Aquarius

So I ran into an Aquarius I dated 2 years ago. He was happy to see me, tried to talk to me and wanted to hang out. I talked to him for a few minutes, asked him how hes been in which he replied"Not too good". Anyways, I declined hanging out with him and went on my way.I ran into him a couple more times throughout the night in which he tried to get me to talk/hang out. I also told him I'm moving next month. He used to text me random things every couple months,about some tv show we watched together or something odd of that sort. but that had stopped for the last half year or so. The relationship was pretty intense, and he broke up with me pretty harshly. He seems to have alot of emotional issues/fear of intimacy , which was apparent during our relationship. I feel bad for him in a way but at the same time still have some feelings for him.


Anyways, the next night he texted me asking me "Do you want to have one more hook up before you leave?" .I just thought that text was weird considering we haven't "hooked" up or anything of the sort for 2 years, not to mention I'm leaving the state!And he's never texted me anything like that before. I didn't respond,but would like to know if this is typical of an Aquarius?

I like your response idea, but do you think it's too late to respond? this was Monday night when he sent it?

Thanks Metoo for your responses. I was going to respond with your suggestion, but wanted to first see if he was joking cuz I still think its crazy he'd ask that.

So I answered him a week later, asking if he was joking bc we havent seen eachother in a year. In which he replied 'i just saw you last week 3 times, but thats fine". So I said "yea, I meant prior to that its been a year. But it was great seeing you again!"

I don't know, I kinda feel bad for the guy!So just trying to be nice?

It's his most desperate way of saying he likes you, too. We tend to forget about people and when we're mesmerized and are in front of them and see they might go away, we don't want to miss our chance. So he's actually thinking if maybe he can leave a mark so even if you go... you too might still have something to work on.

Is that why Aqua males disappear all the time? It is all of the emotional "feelings" and it scares them to the point that they run?

Nope. We are hardcore romantics, too. And if we feel strongly about something, we do not run away. We're risky and we love challenge. If we want something, we push for it and go.

If we run away, that means, for us, the battle is over. There is no way any extreme effort would change the result.

I agree with her too. My aqua friend pretty much admitted that to me and was kicking himself because while he was figuring things out, I had moved on.

I experienced something similar... my aqua guy was equally awkward regarding sex... Excellent when it actually got down to it but try & get him to actually talk dirty over text the day time hours before your plans....forget about it & when he actually would--so awkward but when he'd say something I didn't actually see as dirty & responded normal---IMMEDIATE retreat just how you texted a serious response & your guy immediately tried to retract his offer because you made him feel awkward. What is it with Aquas & being awkward with sexual stuff yet they can still be amazing in bed??

I've been reading through a lot of posts & I just gotta say Metoo you're pretty amazing lol. You come across so knowledgeable & so intelligent in your writing style & so to the point without ever being mean about it. I just gotta inquire about your age if you don't mind of course :-)

Hello! Thank you so much that is a HUGE compliment. Funny I was just reaading last night about my gemini moon. It said Caps with Gemini moons have excellent communication and writing ability so I didnt ever notice that in myself but maybe I do.
Either way, I am 37, have been married, divorced, dated many, suffered through multiple broken hearts and broke a fe myself and I think I have gained lots of positive perspective and experience along the way, plus I love people and look at DXP as a book of short stories in which we can all share and respond and help with. I am fascinated at relationship issues, and feel as though I can peg a persons intentions quickly, I can be very attuned to that, though I am sure I miss the mark sometimes, and also I get to personal with people sometimes or to blunt so I am working on that! xoxo
