So...

Pretty much a question out of curiosity since we need to keep this board bumping like the old days lol. I'll try to keep this short. I had a reputation back home of being a ladies man even though I didn't feel like it I was just being me. I keep in contact with a couple people back home two of them are these ladies who are catching my curiosity my saying the same thing. One I had a thing with for a night pretty much at a party we didn't have sex because she did not want to and I was perfectly fine with. We ended up becoming really good friends after and everything has been strictly platonic since. The other was a good friend from high school who I didn't see for about 4 years and now we are good friends she is also in a relationship with a guy I haven't let yet, but she's mentioned once. Both of these lady's want to stay close to me even with the distance. They both however when I talk about a girl coming to visit with one or a girl at work that I'm feeling vibes from tell me to just be friends with them and stay platonic with all girls I meet out here why lol? Help an aqua man out haha I know they both don't have feelings for me so why would they say this both of them?

Unresolved baggage? Still loving someone deeply but not realising or admitting it? Maybe the bond with one of the girls you mentioned was so strong that it felt like some sort of 'soul connection' so you don't feel the need to have a girlfriend? Who knows maybe these girls you're meeting just doesn't cut it or you're unaware of your standards.

Can be a NUMBER of things.

Unless I completely read that wrong and you meant the two girls are telling you to just be friends with the new girls you are meeting. *shrugs*

finish your school and education then get a good job /financial independence ect that kind of thing then decide to marry...

OR....

marry her, or move in with her, and go to school/finish your education, do all those things in correlation with loving and snuggling with her too when you get home from school. You can study together and whatever while she does her own thing.

look at us...😛 relationship experts. ho ho ho... every relationship is different but ah well.

Huh thanks for everything guys that totally blew over my aqua head xD. I think I understand their situation alot better now. Jeez I feel like an idiot for not realizing this haha. Thank again everyone for the help 🙂

Sorry aqualad, I only really lurk on the Aqua board, but I gather you're English and working or doing uni out of country. Is that right?

Sounds like jealousy/possessiveness. Or maybe you're on a time restraint and they're concerned with you falling for someone and having to leave them at the end of your visa. I'm leaning former, tho.

Yea I'm English and I'm working on trying to go pro in a sport in a couple states over. I had to start over due to injuries and I moved here for better opportunities.

Hmm you said some very interesting and helpful things. I understand what you mean about the soul connection that you talked about. It must be my descendant in scorp and my natal moon in the eigth. I used to feel like that with another girl to the point that girls thought I was gay because I wouldn't take in their advances. Unfortunately she passed away last year it's just healed for me pretty much. I didn't realize how much she ment to me after the fact though my sister actually told me she thought she was going to be the one for me even though I'm young and all.

I think I would choose the first one any day. The more I read on this board I see myself as one of those usually aqua man tools that people bash on here xD. Thank you for that it seems alot more reasonable. Jeez my head is so far in te clouds all this blew by me. DXP is going to be my savior since my scorp older sis isn't around to help me out with this stuff xD.
