Umm..yea I was talking to one of my associates and she said that emotionally I act like a man sometimes. My first thought was: "wtf are you talking about!" She said I am definitely 'girly' but some of my personality and things that come out of my mouth is manly.

Has anyone else got this. This is the second time in my life someone has told me this.

1. Yes I have a potty mouth, that has improved btw. That swear jar works! I've gotten, 2 pair of gorgeous boots, 3 pair of Seven jeans, and a pair of gold earrings from the money in my swear jar. πŸ˜„

2. I dont beat around the bush, I say what I have to say and thats it.

3. Yes I dont cuddle after sex, I want to go to sleep. My hubby doesn't mind. ;P

I mean that is not manly behavior, or am I just in denial. I mean I don't really care one way or the other. I will continue to live my lovely life, But I am curious to know if other aqua fems have experienced this.

Really? cause you were complaining in the other thread about some aqua woman and you couldn't confront her. maybe go to her next time and be blunt.

is that a compliment 😒

i love my sisters so if i say you act like one of them, then it's a compliment.

but they're not perfect. She also has problems at the workplace with other co-workers and she's not confrontational at times, and then bitches about them, and then the next she says she bitches at them and makes them cry. You're very similar. You waver in and out of confront and non-confrontational. especially in a workplace.

You're the chick engaged/married to the Libra right?

Ofc you have to be the man in that relationship. Don't even try to deny it.

+10000

my sister is married to one. She wears the pants. and they're happy like that.

Yup, it works.

I've never seen a marriage with a Libra Man where he wore the pants.

They were both happy with the dynamic and that's all that matters.

Mariah Carey probably is the boss lady in her marriage. *nods*

My sister also wants to do the right thing. But, she's upper management. I have no idea what she does to solve the dilemma. She doesn't talk about it anymore....as if the problem disappears.

Im an aqua. I dont have a swear jar because I dont see anything wrong with using swear words, if I did I would be rich πŸ˜›
-I wear jeans and just shirts, my best friend tried to get me dressed up for a party and I grabbed a shirt off the floor and threw it on, my friend told me to put more effort in, truth is I realy dont care how I look.
-I dont paint my nails or do anything fancy with my hair, I find it grose to try and look cute. Im fine the way I am.
I also noticed there is a gap in the way that guys and girls communicate, girls sound really needy and guys are blunt honest and straight forward, I admire that in men because thats how I communicate, just not about my feelings.
-There is no "code" in my language either, girls now days when they say things like "if I say Im ok it really means Im not. Fuck that noise. If I say Im ok it means I am OK!

Love it! πŸ™‚

it's not about what we wear - I go clubbing in hoodies nd hot pans with converse - damn sure I'm hotter than those girls in their minnie skirts hahaha it's our attitude and charisma that makes us still more feminine even if we wear "manly" clothes. but men are def not attracted to girls who play like they are one of the dudes - not to be mistaking with having the pants on in the relationship.

yea even though I'm suppose to be 'manly'. I have never had a problem with dating. I almost always wear jeans! I have to have them.

Hey chem!! Been a while!!

I say keep on keepin' on. I think it's a complement she said that. I can't stand these women with their emotions all over the place, crying, hurt feelings, etc. at work. There's a time and place for everything and at work they shouldn't take things personally. I just want to slap them and tell them to man up!

Ahhh well, that's just us unemotional winter signs. πŸ™‚

The reason your associate called you "manly" is b/c they personally (or even ignorantly) might associate some of your personality traits with masculinity

Common Aquarius traits associated with society's version of masculinity:
1. The woman being more logical than emotional (They believe only men should be this way & are confused when a woman is this way)

2. Direct & blunt & the ability to communicate/think w/o emotions being at the center. (This is often considered a 'leadership' quality & some people still ignorantly believe that women aren't as effective in leadership like men)

3. Having tough skin (Some people continuously fall for the creed that if a woman is silent during controversy, holds herself together or doesn't seem to constantly fall apart when she's let down, something must be wrong with her. They associate tough skin with only something men normally have).

4. Our no-nonsense approach. Especially in relationships. (When an Aquarius woman is deeply hurt, she may pull the disappearing act or pretend like that person doesn't exist. Sounds like a problem most women complain about with men right?? vs. it being the other way around. The aspect that a woman wouldn't be on her knees crying, falling apart or being an emotional wreck during a breakup or hard time like her other female counterparts, makes some people associate this ability with masculinity)

5. Independence vs. co-dependency. (Some Aquas have been known to be fiercely independent & love to do things on their own & in their own way. For some the aspect of a woman not being somehow co-dependant on others or on a man seems "odd" or "unusual" when it fact this about some Aquas is fairly normal & natural).

Long story short: It's all about perception + the traits they associate with femininity vs. masculinity

Pretty good πŸ™‚ Buying a house really cut into my shopping budget. The lib has made the house his palace as he calls it (rolls eyes). oh and he impregnated me. the bastard. i thought i had a few more years of my mediocre workouts. now when I have a baby i will have to work out what 3 times a week or whatever so my ass wont droop to the ground. I have been saying prayers for my boobs. They will be down to my knees before I know it.
but otherwise i'm a happy girl.

so you still with your aquaman. nice πŸ˜‰
