Will he sabotage this? Aqua Sun Vir Moon maaaaan

So the latest with my friendship with the Aqua freakazoid has taken an interesting turn. During a one on one, when we seemed to be developing an intimacy, I informed him that I didn't think he had any belief in his career anymore, and I hit a nerve, he brushed it aside, and now seems to be ignoring me to focus on this work that he doesn't seem to have belief in. Whether he's creating much I don't know. He seems to be blocked right now, and very disillusioned.

So due to the fact I may have upset him with this frank approach, he now seems to be ignoring me. I realise there's no pushing against a brick wall, but how can I express to him that he's my friend, he can trust me, and that I don't want to have this non communication over something that could be resolved fairly quickly if he'd only talk to me—

Pfffft, how long do I have to wait, bearing in mind we're working together in two weeks, and have I given him the ammo to shoot down something that could be really special?
