They should help one another and that's the beauty of it. What one lacks someone else helps you to become better yourself. Strengthen the bond.
As far as emotional weak probably some kind of work out. Both can give ample amount of space and not always clingy and come back..can be great for someone not into monogamous. Open relationship status yes. Fwb yes. Lover of your life maybe. Long term monogamous possibility or not. Depends entirely of the boundaries you have set.
