Aries probably still in touch with ex?

How likely is this?
I've only been talking to him for 3 weeks but she is number 1 on his snapchat (I'm in my 20s so it's a thing)
They were together for like 3 years and broke up around March.
I'm surprised he told me so much about them.
He said she hung around him even when he said he wanted to be a slut in college and eventually he fell for her.
They did long distance for a bit but then ended it.
I told him flat out I suspect he still wants to be with her.
He said she actually called him saying she would move to be with him but he said nah, it's over, he's done.
She's a Libra btw. I'm a Scorpio with heavy Gemini influence.
Anyways, he also seems to like his ego stroked. I am all about the loving and compliments in person but over text I tease him about it, like if he sends me a pic of him working out.
Also he loves to call me a player... when I suspect HE'S the player. (considering his past)
He used to text me good morning all the time now that has kinda died. I much prefer over the phone or in person.
Also he's not very creative with date ideas. It's always rather chill.
Honestly I'm getting a bit bored. The conversations and everything is great in person. But he doesn't call, only snapchat or text, and it's boring.
I thought they liked the chase?
Maybe he's getting bored too?
Just any insight would be appreciated!

Only one of my exes I still keep in contact with because he's such a great guy. But absolutely no feelings.
And that's only after not speaking to him for months.
And we still only talk like once a month for a few hours.
I would never tell my current bfs that though..

It's only worrying when not much time has passed. The wound hasn't healed.

i wouldnt completly put myself into anything after 3 wks. Its your time to observe and feel things out. It doesnt sound like he is into her anyway. If u make demands regarding her this early on, ull just push him away.

I don't make any demands, he has no idea what I'm feeling haha. We haven't talked about his ex since that first date.
You are right.
The way I am with him is when we're together I'm funny, initiate interesting conversations and tease him but also compliment. I'm just genuine. It's only when we're not together that I'm not replying as often or at all sometimes.

i think i find this quite true. My aries ex and I has never lost communication even after our breakup. At first it was all sweet and let's get back together thing but later on we became real good friends. And just that. Maybe he just doesn't want to lose his communication with her. Give him the benefit of the doubt 🙂

Although it could be harmless my Aries ex had no boundaries on what she would tell me. She would compare her current to me and express how much she missed me. My experience with her and my aunt only shows me that an Aries mind is always changing and I do believe they are not 100% trust worthy.'with my ex I always believed her ex wouldn't leave her alone until I became the ex and she was the one holding on to me.....

I don't know if is want to go through that again...dating someone freshly out a relationship who is still in touch....

ok freak out, he knows I matched with one of his friend's on Tinder but won't tell me who it is. when I asked why he said to 'not get in the way' but I'm not even talking to anyone on Tinder, I just make matches because I like looking at cute guys (whatever, sue me) Maybe his friend knows I'm talking to him so didn't initiate a conversation? Also maybe this is why he has stopped texting me good morning .. he stopped doing that a few days ago, right around when I got Tinder back. I just feel awkward that he won't tell me who it is. Then again I probably wouldn't tell him if it were the other way around.
also basically wants to be casual since he's focusing on his work and getting out of his parent's house by Xmas and he can't focus on a gf.
but why say that and then talk to a person every day? like today he called me and we talked for 40 minutes. I feel like if you do that often the casualness can get quite blurry. for me anyways.
He also said he definitely isn't sleeping with other girls because he's not like that. He doesn't even talk to his matches on tinder although he might talk to girls friendly.

One of my best friends met her bf on Tinder.
Maybe it's different from person to person on how it's used.

Again, if you met him on there and are dating him, what's to stop him from thinking you're looking for another guy?
