Aries third Decan with Scorp second Decan?

What do you think of the match? I've been taking it very slow with this Scorp. We're just hanging out as friends right now; he's really quite shy. Which I totally understand, I can be as well and I don't want to push him out of his comfort zone.
We hungout previously in groups with my friend and her boyfriend. Last night was the first night with just us two; it was great, the convo flowed well and we didn't make ourselves speak just to fill silence. He's ok with it as am I sometimes. It was fun and he immediately made sure to ask me if we could do it again sometime. He's so sweet and respectful. I'm really liking this Scorpio's company. Oh! And his Aqua rising fits well with my Libra rising, he has a lot more to say than a typical Scorp sun.
You guys think an Aries third Decan could work with the Scorp second Decan?

His moon is Cancer and his rising is actually Gemini, which works well with my Libra rising. But my moon is Libra too -- I know that technically doesn't match moon wise but it just flows so easily with this Scorpio. His Mars and Venus are Sag and my Venus is Taurus and my Mars is Gemini. I'll check the other placements.

In general Aries and Scorpio pairing is fast and furious but short-lived.

But it depends on the placements as well cos sometimes it can work.

Yeah that's true but for some reason despite some placements I have, I've noticed that in more devoted romance-wise with all of the Scorps I've dealt with, usually the Aries are the ones who make it short-lived; and my others exes were Cancers lol all water signs. I do have houses in water domains and my mid-heaven and Chiron are Cancer. Also, my true node is Pisces and my Pluto is in Scorpio; those are all my water placements. So idk if any of that helps!

*More devoted than all the Scorps ice dealt with besides this one!

You're born around the late/afternoon evening-ish time and if I'm not mistaken Aries Sun is the only Aries placement in your chart. It's not the strongest house in the world to have a Sun placement. You're likely to identify with it only when you're well into middle age. Until then, your rising isn't the strongest degree it could be by any means but coupled with the Libra Moon, it's not surprising you identify with Libra. Libra and Scorpio go together just fine.

yes, agree with this after knowing quite a bit of astro over time.

For example, Jonny Miller isn't the most Scorpio guy due to his dominant airy chart. Even though he is a double air.

and the example i gave you of Josh Duhamel and Fergie is another.

(although i read that they are working through therapy alot and it seems to be helping their marriage) Fergie is not a quitter (taurus venus)

and i feel they can make it through. Her libra moon loves his Libra venus and gemini mars trining.

We don't know his rising though, so the houses may play out differently *shrug*

I dont know why i identify you with Libra energy, OP, maybe because you have libra moon and 7th house sun.

also, in real life i know an Aquarius girlfriend 1st decan with 2nd decan Scorpio, she has Libra moon like you.

but he has libra mars and aquarius moon. and he has alot of libra himself.

she has lots of libra outer planets, (so does he) and i dont know their risings though, but her houses are strong in 8th, with mars, merc and venus. It might be she has 9th house merc, and maybe she only has 8th house mars/venus. *shrug*

I'm highly likely to identify with Libra more than anything haha I'm such a softie, and go crazy when my life feels unbalanced 😛 I need all that harmony, man lol I only identify with a couple of Aries traits, so you're right.
And I agree that they get along just fine, I think they could learn from each other actually. In fact, a strong famous friendship, (even though it should be a romance lol) between a Libra and Scorpio is Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. I feel how much they care about each other and I'm such a sap like Kate lol perhaps it's a Libra thing to feel things so openly?
Anyway, my point is I strongly identify with my Libra traits and I get along great with this Scorpio. In fact, he's more talkative than most Scorpios I know. Well at least ,when he's comfortable; he said I make him feel completely at ease. 🙂

Im libra moon and my bf is Cancer moon. They're square but it's still not horrible. The good thing about our moons is that we both like harmony and dislike conflict. So if we have a disagreement we hurry up and resolve it and get back to snuggling.

Really? Hmm I looked online and it said he's second. Guess it was wrong.
Lol meek? He is pretty shy and extremely respectful and kind of goes off the vibes of others. As opposed to other Scorps I know that are either domineering and/or stoic. He's super relaxed and sweet. I wouldn't call it "meek".

It's like being born at midnight. If you're born on midnight itself you're born on the day before. If you're born one minute into midnight you're born on the day of.

He's 20 degrees and 37 minutes in.

Had he been anywhere between 20.00 and 20.01 he'd been second decan but he's just into third.


Sites have to round up the Sun degrees because of leap years among other things.

So what's your take on our other placements combining? Why is it so easy to be around this Scorp? Usually they make me kind of nervous and feel like I'm being 'figured out' the entire time lol

Yes, that is very true. We always have to consider individuality and life experience as well as chart placements -- astrology is not the end-all be-all of people's personalities.

It really isn't going to mean much, considering my sun is not very strong, as we both say! Funny that you say that, because I have been reading more Libran horoscopes lol as well as known traits and I honestly can say that majority of the time, not all but the majority, it's pretty accurate.

Exactly, I've always been drawn to the more pensive, introverted types. He can certainly be that, but now that he''s found comfort and ease in my company, he's begun to be more chatty than before. That could be other placements or not, I don't really know. But I'm enjoying every minute of that.
He seems like a mixture of strong and meek, I can't quite explain it yet.

Yes, this is where I think we can really make it work. I think we both have a fair amount of placements to understand the other. I absolutely love private, in-depth talks. So I won't shy away from that if a moment like that arises with him. We're quite candid and raw with each other already, speaking about out personal experiences and such. And he said he's drawn to women who are open about their doubts and fears because it allows for more honest dialogue -- it's been going very well.

I'm aries sun with Scorpio rising and Mars, merc & venus in pisces, so very water heavy.

However I cannot seem to work with Scorpio suns on a romantic level. Lust is fine but anything more is a no go.

I have many Scorpio friends both male and female that work great, buy like I said nothing more. But that's just my experience.

You really need to look into blogs about Venus in Sagittarius and Mars in Sagittarius. 

His Ascendant opposes his Venus and Mars by sign. So, what you are liking is that first impression, the 1st house of Gemini, his ascendant... good conversation, communication and all that.  The first house is a mask when there is no planet residing in the house.

It appears (it's late night for me) that he is Sag dominant with Sag in the 11th house... a very freedom loving, friendship oriented, humanitarian house. This house seems to be his focus. Couple that with the fact that his 7th house of love, relationships, marriage is empty (as are many of the houses of his chart) and I wouldn't be surprised that you are a friend for a while... with Venus and Mars in Sag, perhaps a female friend among.

Get well acquainted with the sign Sagittarius and particularly the male with Venus and Mars in Sag. With him being a Scorpio as well, do not take for granted that you know who he really is. However, you will still be held responsible for it. Don't take anything at face value. Make no assumptions.

As Aries we are direct and uncomplicated. Scorpio are not. Do not see him through Arian eyes.

Cthu! I am also 3rd decan Aries that was in a relationship with a 2nd decan scorp. It was fun. I learned a lot, but we were not compatible for a long term thing. Just short term fun.
