Is he upset?

My Aries has been very active lately + working on top of it, we saw eachother last night, stayed out late. I messages him today asking him if he is tired he said he really was. The convo kept going but he was giving one word answers to everything , even to some major things that happened in my life today. I don't know if he's upset with me over something or if he's just tired and run down , I haven't asked him the last thing I said was that I will talk to him later and all he said was 'cool'. I won't message him till he messages me, I'll give him space, if I don't hear from him in 3 days, I'll ask if he is upset with me. I don't want to ask anything now since it could be nothing. /vent

He probably is going through something as you say. FYI...Aries men, in my experience, tend to be big babies even at 30. So keep this in mind. Don't worry and go on about your business of living. When he's ready he will come back to you. We like our space sometimes. 🙂 Good luck!

Yeah, agreed. He can be such a huge baby sometimes. I def care if he's upset with me for any reason so I can cuddle him till he is back to himself again :p I adore him and def do back off and give him space whenever I sense him being moody.

...uh? What's the confusion here? Why are you reading into things when he clearly said he was tired? One word answers when one is tired sounds normal to me.

No matter how tired I am I can still type out shit. And if he is upset, I know how he acts, it's exactly like this.

IMO, him saying that he was tired was his cue to let you know he didn't want to be bothered at the moment. He probably got upset because you didn't get it and continued with the texting, thus the one word answers.

Yes, we will usually ask you straight forward what we want or don't want, but we also don't like doing things that we know can hurt the feelings of the people we care for, thus we'd put up with situations like this... until we run out of patience.

Not texting him or calling him will be the best thing you can do. I guarantee he'll get back to you sooner than you expect.

wow.. women read into that kinda crap waaay to much...i answer to text messages like that alot too most of the time i'm jut too bored to be bothere by the phone..or i'm caught up doing something else so i give one word answers

He's just playing a game because he's bored with the relationship. He knows you want a reaction from him and he's not giving it because he needs to save his energy.
Are you sure he's not seeing anyone else?

By the way, you clearly stated you know he does this when he's upset. So.... you know the answer to your own question. We're no closer to knowing the "why" than you are.

I sure hope he isn't! lol we have an interesting history together.
He's just hard to read, I let him be when he's like this.

Agreed. It'd be one thing if it were consistent to the point where it's like, "okay... wtf is going on??" But it happens ONCE and women freak the fuck out? Seriously? Regardless of sign, people have their days.

There was one time that my Libra ex (wasn't ex at the time), was chatting with me online. I didn't realize it, but my responses were kinda short. I was doing something else and sorta spacing while chatting. He thought I was mad or something. Not at all. I was just being a space cadet. *shrugs*

I don't get why the OP is so up in arms so fast. :/

This is not the first time this is happening, it happens all the time. Before and after that situation happened(I'm positive you've read my other posts before). I guess it's just how he is, he's so hard to read at times, especially when he acts like this I'm like is he just in a funk or is something actually about to go down. I just never know which is which.
