Just met a Aries... Aries and Gemini
No, I've hung out with him once. We were meant to hangout last friday but he ended up doing his friend a favour. I don't know if he even likes me like that although he has said he does like me. Do aries normally say things that aren't true? When I message him he converses with me, if he didn't like me do you think he'd even suggest seeing each other again and continue communicating with me? or do you think he'd just go quiet on me after we hung out the first time?

and am forever getting caned about it on the Gemini board.
He said he is waiting, this means he is waiting. He might be waiting to see if you have changed your mind about him - you are a Gemini after all.
If you want a different interpretation of what "waiting" means try the Gemini or Libra board. As a rule if that is what an Aries says, then that is exactly what he or she is doing. We are pretty straightforward characters.
Okay that helps. I did message him on saturday but he read it and he didnt reply. I know he's busy and I don't mind too much because I'm just as bad with messages. I don't want him to think Im not interested because Im the type if you see my messages and don't reply I'll leave you alone, but I like this guy. What do you think I should do? I was thinking of messaging him a bit later today.
I have waited. Thought the guy was the real deal and didn't want to bugger it up with the ole "sex too soon" thing.
