Should I reach out? Do I let him chase?

So.. a friend of mine reached out to me saying she thinks I’d be a great match with this guy. We both are from the same city and both currently living in Chicago. I told her to give him my number. He texted me and we chatted for a few days, and he was very excited to take me to dinner. I met him and it was an instant connection. His friends were in town that day so I met all of them. He said they were very excited to meet me. They certainly were! Then we two went to dinner. We got along great, he told me his family is happy he’s going on a date with a girl from the same city. He kissed me that night and expressed he wants to see me again. We were texting for about a week after that bc he went on a work trip. Even FaceTimed me when he was drunk...

2 days ago he texted me to have a date night Tuesday. I responded please pick any other day as I have to be at a work event that night.. no response for 2 days.. should I reach out? Wtf? Everything was going smooth I thought?

His venue is Gemini, sun is Aries, Moon is Gemini and mars is cancer

I love Cap and Aries. You should definitely reach out! The energy is already good so why not go after it.
