Trust me on this one...

A) Aries males can be remarkably oblivious to many things around them. You may have to get the Aries male of your interest to actually recognize that you are noticing him. Get right in his face and say "Hi, how ya' doing." That is generally enough to send that message.

B) Some of us Aries males have learned to recognize that we can be a tad bit much for lots of folks. We work very hard reining ourselves in to keep from plain plowing people over. You may need to let it be known that you are ready for the ride. Please refer to point A and "getting right in his face."

@ A) Not just the male Aries, I actually had a friend kick me under the table at dinner (big crowd of us at one table) and hissing at me "you're getting chatted up" .... the guy opposite me was talking to me and I was answering his questions politely, completely oblivious to being apparently 'chatted up'.

At no stage did the guy say, "Hi I'm Bill and I am chatting you up," so how was I to know——?

and B) people are constantly complaining about our straightforward/no beating around the bush attitude, so I know I make a conscious effort to step back and wait for the other person to signal their interest before proceeding.

C) deep down, right down where no one can is supposed to be able to see, some Aries are actually quite shy but we feel it is our duty to pull on a big shell so no one can tell we are big softies underneath.

Talk to him. We don't bite. Well sometimes we nibble a bit but trust me, you won't complain.
