You don't have to be an Aries to love a good sweat!

I love to run; I don't care if I am the fastest, I could run forever!! It is the best way to listen to your own thoughts and get extra energy out.

The regular routine is like this:

Mornings: run 3-5 miles (1.5 miles if I am doing night sprints)
Night 1: Shoulders and Biceps
Night 2: Chest and Triceps
Night 3: Back and Abs
repeat, one rest day in between then start with day 2, then day 3 and so on. Legs is done on a random day but usually on back and abs day.

The side exercises are all varied. So days I do a class like yoga, others I do minor workouts on the major groups, and sprints

Flavaia, febaqua,

I have alot of energy and have to be careful. I'm presently a size zero in pants. I have gone too far in the release of this energy in the past. My doctor told me that too much exercise can be anorexic. So, I am presently doing yoga only and have been off and on since a child. If left to my own devises my favorite exercise is high impact aerobics accompanied by hardcore violent hip hop music.

My energy gets so high, so bad sometimes I actually shake if I can't release it. I am also prone to periods of extreme euphoria.

I am what is called a hyperthymic temperament: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperthymic_temperament.

I have been recently considering taking up martial arts. I'm researching which type I want to study. Do you guys know anything about martial arts? A recommendation of which to choose from?

The easiest most readily accessible means of exercise is also dancing. I love to dance... alot. I'm pure fire on the dance floor.

Love to sweat. Sweat so hard, I have to peel my panties off.

OvS, I can't see your videos so, I'll have to research the dances on youtube in my spare time. (I heightened the security on my computer and can't recall how to pull it back a some.)

febaqua, size 6 in dresses 'cause of large tits. I'm tits on stilts...LOL!

Yes okay 🙂
Running is one of the only ways I can get into the zone of my thoughts. It is very meditative for me as well 🙂 It's really great that you can get into "the zone" when you run...a lot of people loathe running and think it's boring.

You are running every morning? How often are you doing night sprints? For me sprinting is great, but so hard!! It really knocks me on my ass.

It looks like you have a really awesome plan going!! What kinds of exercises are you doing for those body parts or do you rotate them? I'm just curious 🙂

I teach a bunch of classes including kickboxing, zumba, step, body sculpting. Zumba is so much fun if you like to dance. Yoga is really great. Participants underestimate it: they don't realize that isometric exercise isn't as easy as they've predetermined it to be lol. I'd like to try hot yoga 🙂

I do night sprints 2 or 3 times a week if I miss a long run. Sprinting is NOT easy for me either, but it helps to get more out of the run.

I vary the exercises; I'll try to be brief lol!!: Reps are 3-4 on each exercise. The ass kicking ones are the ones that LOOK easy!!

With triceps the over the head pulls just say easy til the weight is on!

Shoulders: I prefer the shrugs cause it is easy to do, so you have to challenge yourself in reps and/or weight to get what you need out of it.

Abs: The worst one I do is a slow up and down 6 count (hold each position 3-5 seconds)

Biceps: You have to work both heads. I end up doing a lot of curls and isolation

Back: I use machines to make sure I dont go overboard lol

Chest: Fly and bench press. There is this cool muscle failure were ya put on like 25 in 5lbs on each side and do 10 counts taking five off each side without stopping. The bar hurts at the end if you do it right. If you dont then your routine can be stepped up imo. You should not feel dead but like jello lol!

That group wont be worked like that for a while (save running)

This are just some basic randoms off the top of my head.

And yoga will kick your ass if you go to the wrong/right class!!

Hey why even bother with the panties? 😉 Underwear is overrated.

Thanks VenusA 🙂 I figured sharing also gives good ideas

FebAqu:

Shrugs are also a weight thing for me; I dont overkill myself. I am partial to low weight high reps on them.

LOL I thought I put legs on there is all!! It was supposed to be with back for machine use!! Squats and lunges too 😛

And I feel your pain, literally, on titties high and tight! I have adjustable sports bras and tighten them with a fitted cami/ or you can use a fitted sports then a cami. Big titties is not as fun when you run!!

Practice is the answer. 😉
I go to a salsa dance school and club. I dance with whomever I chose. During class we change the girls so at the end you get to dance with everybody.

Sounds like a lot of fun, maybe an adventure or two! Have you been doing that for a long time? I tried taking dance lessons in the past with a boyfriend and we ended up not going back after the first time. I couldn't (wouldn't ? ) follow his lead. It was in part because he didn't know what he was doing sooo

I've been doing it for one year. It's a new world. New wardrobe, new people, festivals and stuff.
You can't learn salsa with a bf/gf. 😉 you have to practice a lot and dance with as many people as you can. 🙂

I'm terrible at this. I have a fricken degree in exercise science and it's become one of the last things that I do. I just don't have the attention span to go to the gym and just work out for the hell of it. It's why I played soccer for so long. I was getting my work out while doing other stuff.

I could easily go the personal trainer route but I'm targeting healthcare more than anything. If I can't get in as PA or decide against athletic training, I wouldn't mind becoming a cancer exercise specialist or get into cardiac rehab, or working with patients or those looking to get their metabolic disorders under control.

That said, I've been looking to get myself into a gym (blegh) or at least running because of family history. Gotta get my ass into shape.

Ideally, will be aiming for running as my primary mode. Resistance is necessary but I already get a lot of that at work so it's not a main concern at the moment. Also- YOGA. Or just go pilates to knock out the resistance as well.

Wow I am surprised that you do shrugs for your shoulders...you don't feel your traps on those? I stay away from those because I think I am trap dominant: I will use them to cheat in presses. For shoulders I will do lateral raises and military presses mostly.

The problem with just doing shrugs is that she could easily go overboard and cause muscle imbalance in the shoulders which throws off the biomechanics and could cause further issues down the road. It's like how a lot of runners are prone to hamstring injuries because the quads are too strong. Or how females are prone to ACL injuries because the quads and hamstrings are imbalanced a tad (along with the wider hips).

Flavia, make sure that you're working out all the groups in the shoulder area.

Ramble is ok. That's cool you studied exercise science! You know what you want to / need to do. One day you will have enough and just get it done. Sounds like you're close to being there?

Ice cream is no good for the waistline. I could really go for a bowl of that shit right now, maybe a bowl of something else too lol.
Don't you need a certain type of certificate to get in as a PA? What about physical therapy...I looked into that and in some states you need a masters in PT now to practice.

PA is a Master's degree. If I can get my foot in the door in some sort of healthcare job atm, I need 2 years paid experience just to apply for a PA program.
To be a PT, you need a doctorate. Many are doing a program where you can jump from a Bachelor's to a Doctorate since they changed it recently.
I might just say fuck it and go back to athletic training. I'm pretty much set up for it atm. Just wish the pay didn't suck as much as it did. They do everything PTs do, just don't deal with insurance and they make half of what PTs do. The hours are longer too.

And icecream isn't bad per se. Most food isn't. It's the lack of moderation that's the bad part!

Yes! My bad, I meant doctorate for PT...duuuuh!

You could do athletic training, like for some organization and then pick up extra clients on the side. I actually did all my pre-reqs to apply to the PT program, I just haven't pulled the trigger and applied to the schools. I should just do it already. I'm just not looking forward to pulling as many hours as I am now and then on top of that taking on full- time school. Most of the PT programs are full-time. I've heard that they have some where you can go on the weekend...are you familiar with this?

I dunno. Not in this area. All the PT programs are full time to my knowledge. At least the legit ones are.

Athletic training really doesn't work like that. Your "clients" are athletes on sports teams. You get lucky and work pros, or you settle with high schools. JC and universities are a good middle ground. Some have gotten smart and contract out to schools since they're getting all budget cut happy. So instead of working at one specific school, they may contract with the district and the kids go to the clinic and the trainer may have a few days they're on campus. I really enjoy it, but I just don't want to get trapped in the high school route. :/

Thanks lady, I put in there I vary my exercises. I just gave a basic rundown of some of the exercises I do to be brief, it's not all inclusive 🙂

Now you have me thinking Roro: If I only did shrugs, I wonder how that imbalance would look on me lol!! (I know it would feel horrible and I'm not seeking it, I just got a weird image in my head of it)

Nice!! I am working toward becoming a PA or long term working toward Progeria Research 😄 The hardening of the arteries and onset to various cancers take people with this genetic disorder at a very early age. Here is a video from a person who lived to be 26 with the disorder. He was a south African artist named Leon Botha

Leon Botha

Running started my workout craze, if you can call it that. I think I have no complete attention span for anything else but running which is why the gym is so varied. I HAD TO make that rotating schedule or it wasn't going to happen. I am not seeking a certain definition, just a certain overall health level. Thank you for sharing 🙂

I enjoy running (more like jogging) just so I can relax and get lost in my own thoughts as well....but unfortunately my doctors don't want me ruining anymore due to back injures so I can only do it once in a while. I enjoy dance classes and pilates on the reformer machines (but they're super expensive so I can't do it often). I typically warm up on the elliptical for 35-45 min and then take a dance class thats a mix of zumba, hiphop, jazz and bollywood. I love it!
For strength training I have an ab routine I do every workout on the TRX and sometimes do legs/arms on their too.
