Is this an Aries thing or am I wack...

Ever be mad as hell one minute and then...wanna bust out laughing suddenly but know that if you do, your partner will think you are completely wack!

Or out of the blue be over it and not mad anymore?

Or be all "we're so done!" and really know that you're not its just a bit of sick/fun drama?

Yup, Leo and Aries (me) are in a txt fight. But it feels just like we're just displaying our claws/horns to set standards and boundaries and then get to some hot making up. I have NO clue if he is seeing it that way..but I do feel like he would not want to end it with me...especially over the dumb thing we're fighting about.

THing that sucks is (with my impatience!!) I'm already ready to make up and I actually know it needs to fester a bit on his end. sigh.

it's very Aries. we tend to run hot and cold! once the initial burst of anger is out, we can then calm down and see it was probably no big deal! Leos LOVE drama, (whether they admit to it or not) so they may drag it out a bit longer.
But as long as you know how to subtly stroke his ego, he'll always be yours. It sounds like you're already ahead of the game though!

I am the same exact way, it's crazy! And I hate that about myself too!

I feel like those outbursts of negativity can be based on a few things:

a. you want attention
b. something has been bothering you for a long time, but you felt like it's too unimportant to actually fight about it and in the next weak moment it still comes out
c. things have been going too good with your partner

The latter is the most stupid one, but I used to have that very often in my previous 4-year relationship with a Scorpio. I would randomly pick fights and then be over it so quickly, that it confused the hell out of my him. Luckily he knew how to handle my ways very well.

I feel like it's very important to have a partner who is compatible in fighting with us Aries. Because some people (and this is very justified) find this type of behavior confusing and it turns them off. While we are over it quickly and forget why we even started fighting, they hold on to it and try to resolve the issue inside of them. That can get tiring after a while.

I think your Leo might be one of those compatible people. I would still try and control myself though, you never know when they might have enough. I REALLY wished I had an answer on HOW to control yourself though..

On minor issues I am like this, let the anger go. When things become major issues I seethe. I don't calm back down once it has managed that I am worked up to breaking point. This is why I try to keep things minor, as to avoid my dark side 🙂

Definitely, I cannot stay mad at anyone, no matter what they do, it's horrible.
That's how I end up as a doormat, but honestly I just think staying mad is stupid anyway, why hold that shit in and let it bother you? Get it out, get it over with and move on to the next thing.

As an Aries with Gemini Moon, I know I come across that way: mad as hell (Aries), busting out laughing (Gemini). It's like a thunderstorm on a sunny day.

I too am with a Leo. In the past, fire sign to fire sign, we have been so angry with each other that we have actually been nose to nose (he's 6'4, I'm 5'2) snarling and yelling so loud that we are spraying spittle on each other's face. Then, he goes to kiss me all of a sudden and I'm not ready to cool off. He pounces on me and holds me down 'cause I'm wild'n. Then, I decided to start scratching his face to get him off me. He's still kissing me. Then, I start laughing like crazy.

The clothes come off.

Ahhhhh, its good to be in the company of my fellow Aries.... 😄

Aries04, I think its a bit of all 3 of those things! LOL! We don't get to see each other as often as I like and I had JUST finished telling him the other day how I was "happy as a clam about us" and I THOUGHT I was determined not to blow anything out of proportion, but nope..had to go there.

I hate worrying about him thinking I'm a nut job because since I really wanted to see him I was willing to concede everything and beg like an idiot. Thankfully his txts never say anything to the effect of him being totally done. He'll say "buzz off on this one" or just "Stop it!!!" which to me is not saying he's done with me.

When it comes to anger, we express it and are then over it. We don't hold onto grudges, bitterness, or ill feelings....

Sooo true! I try hard to understand the other side and that people aren't perfect and have their own issues which make them do the things they do...so I forgive.

But yes, at times this does end up making me feel like a doormat.
