This is hilarious. Yeah I am not making any decision on this guy until after this period is over because according to his scope today is a day of reflecting on past and current relationships i'm gonna call and say hi, but that's about it after today. That's true; and I'm thinking this is a good test for me to learn how to set stronger boundaries. I'm terrible when exes try to return, because the memories blind me. And I forget why I left; until an ugly reminder resurfaces. So much fun lol

I was wondering actually… I understand that it’s generally advised to not make any big decisions during a Venus retrograde and the shadow phases, especially regarding your personal life, however the running commentary in my mind is re-evaluating a “decision” I made a couple weeks ago with an ex.

Now, I may not actually make a decision during the retrograde (my August is booked solid already), but the process your mind goes through during the retrograde, is it not valid at all?? I mean the thoughts that occur are ultimately working towards a decision, so they have validity, right? What I mean is that your mind doesn’t just make up nonsense/false ideas during the retrograde does it?

My decision was rash but I've been thinking about it for a while, the final decision to let him go happened smack in the middle of the shadow period. I don't think it was daft at all, maybe a bit bold but I think it was what that relationship needed, an actual end.
But who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong and will feel massive guilt once it goes direct, I don't remember how the last retrograde went...

Oh well, I personally take Astrology as a preventive measure more than a guide book to live by. If I've fucked up I'll just own it, but shit happens.
Funnily enough it's retrograde in my 5th and his 7th house, and apparently both important for V in R.

Apparently my moon in the twelfth house is very emotionally intense and that makes so much sense; pairing that with my expressive Libra moon and my Gem Mars, I HAVE to say how I feel. And this Scorpio ex who's trying to worm his way back in just told me that I've always overwhelmed him with my sensitivity and need to communicate that.

He is a Virgo moon; it's in the fifth house which I thought would make him express his feelings more, but apparently not. Probably the Virgo aspect.
In short, I'm emotionally too much for him. So I said "Stop coming after me if this is how you feel. Leave me be and let me go."

My relationship is on its downfall and I don't know why. 😢
