I honestly think we should stop doing astrology

Im not religious, but im officially a christian(anglican), and i think that's enough to receive due punishment for whatever wrongs...
It says in the bible If you follow the stars for guidance god will chop you off...whatever that means, it doesnt sound good in any case...

The only thing I've ever read about religion and astrology was about nephlim. It said when God sent Satan and the rest of the Fallen to earth with them came forbidden schools of magic from the heavens. Among these many forbidden schools, one was astrology.

I don't think God is that arrogant however, or constantly testing us humans. If God didn't want us to eventually understand the magic of the heavens while still mortal, why would God send the Fallen to earth and not Hell? Unless earth is Hell, and our lives are a punishment to learn lessons from the sin of life rather life being gift.

Regardless of which, I feel God wants us to follow the starts because they lead us to God.

I read it from the book of Enoch also.

It's from ancient Jewish religion, so I'm not sure if your religion is super strict or not, but Jewish religion seems to speak the most about God and astrology from what I've seen.

I'm not religious, but I'm a spiritual Christian, not baptized but just as good of a relationship with those that do.

God made the universe, the energy, the stars, everything.
My logic is, God created astrology by energy means, to help give us different personalities and make us unique And give us different lessons to learn through our experiences experiences.

We were give these mysteries to uncover deeper meaning, and these deeper meanings mixed with the aspects of science are bringing humans closer to God.

Well, as I see it, there are three options.

1. You believe in God.
2. You don't believe in God.
3. You don't know.

Let's not forget that there are different beliefs out there and I'm willing to swear that all of these three categories are represented in this forum.

If you belong to category number one, you will probably argue that whatever the scriptures(I say scriptures, not the bible because if you do believe in God, that is not necessarily the same thing as believing in the bible - there are other religons out there.) say, you should follow that. However, that in turn, leads us to the fact that there are a huge amount of interpretations of each religious scripture. So, make your own interpretation - don't let anyone tell you what you should or should not believe, including religion, including astrology. Discuss it, research it, but after having gathered the facts, believe what you will.

If you belong to category number two, the bible it just another book, and just because something is written in a book, doesn't make it true. Again, believe what you will.

If you belong to the third category: same thing - go figure out what you believe.

As far as I know, there is no place in the scriptures that says exactly how God created people's personalities. Maybe what happened was that God designed a generator which would place the basic character descriptions onto each and every one of us. How about that generator are the astrological(kosmological?) bodies? ie. maybe God's tool in creating our personalities was indeed astrology.

What i'm getting at is that we can argue about this til the next ice age and none of us would be able to prove any one of our beliefs.
