For instance, there is in no way any firm dating (not even close, according to scholarship) for the Buddha's date of birth.

Same for Genghis Khan, but although we have a year, it isn't quite a firm dating - still scholarly debate about that. And we don't know the month with any certainty.

But anyway, there's still a lot of meat in terms of the rest of the list.

Unrelated to the OP, but I recall seeing a documentary that was his descendants all across Europe. They found trace hereditary DNA in a number of people. This isn't shocking, but I recall the amount of people the researchers posited as descendants quite shocking. If the man wasn't fighting, he was....you know.

I saw a list of most influential men in American history and these guys were not even in the top 10.

Anyway, I'll throw some Capricorns in there......heck yeah, I'm biased.

Alexander Hamilton...number 5 in America's influence
Benjamin Franklin...#6
Martin Luther King...#8
Woodrow Wilson...#10

Howard Hughes
Johannas Keppler
Lady Bird Johnson

One of the worst lists I've ever seen.

LOL @ Jesus. Buddha. Genghis Khan. Scratch them. No official birthdays.

LOL @ the western centric list. Including muppets like Reagan and Clinton without including Den XiaoPing or Ho Chi Minh whose vietnamese army defeated the Americans.

Exactly, and most of these are political leaders.
How about some REAL influential people, whose influence can still be found today.

Think
- Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the internet)
- Alexander Fleming (inventor of Penicillin)
- Johannes Gutenberg (inventor of modern day printing)
- Alfred Nobel (inventor of dynamite)
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ren% C3% A9_Descartes">Ren? Descartes (modern thinking)

Some other awesome people we don't know the date of birth of are:
- Ibn S??n??, aka Avicenna (polymath extraordinaire)
- Olaudah Equiano (Who was very important in the abolition of British slave trade)
- Cai Lun (Inventor of paper)

Now, my list is no better than any other one out there but it does include some people who have done more than some of the world leaders in the OP.

Alfred Nobel stole dynamites from Chinese, and that's an inventor?

WTF Chinese had fireworks for thousands of years. Genghis Khan utilized dynamites in their war tactics after their Chinese invasion.

In a sense. Gunpowder is not the same as finding a more stable way to use nitroglycerine. You could say he ushered in the age of high explosives.

Thomas Edison came from WEALTH, while i read Tesla had difficulty and didnt have money backing.

Thomas Edison is also a 2nd house (taurus) sun there.

which represents money and wealth.

so let's just put Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart then if Edison is too crappy for you.
