Gluttony in astrology is linked to Jupiter and Neptune, especially when they aspect personal planets. Signs like Taurus and Cancer often show physical gluttony, while Gemini and Sagittarius may seek endless mental consumption. Aspects involving Mercury, Venus, or Mars can indicate tendencies toward intellectual or passionate excess. These planetary influences highlight how different signs express overindulgence.
I have Neptune and Jupiter in sag...
That make me a glutton for knowledge?

As we know, the primary indicators for gluttonous conditions are usually Jupiter and Neptune. When combined, both can form something like a bottomless pit, which is ready to consume everything around - like a black hole, especially when these two planets are forming aspects with the more personal ones. The word "boundary" doesn't exist in this combo, and the squares can prove this quite nicely. If I have to point out the signs:
Taurus and Cancer may be seen as the champions of any food contest, domestic or not.
Gemini and Sagittarius, with their restlessness, won't stop absorbing all sorts of information.
Leo and Scorpio thrive for the good and lustful passionate experiences with great gusto.Wait, there's more:
Mercury in aspects with Jupiter + Neptune may indicate intellectual gluttony.
Jupiter in Taurus/Cancer + Neptune and Venus may add the feeling that these individuals can devour the whole world, LOL!
Venus and Mars with Jupiter + Neptune and Pluto may pretty much be called the "Casanova" configuration. All of these are just some basic examples, so feel free to add some more information about this "deadly sin".
So, how's your appetite, people?
Yikes. 😕
I have some of those-- not the Taurus/Cancer, obviously, but I may have the rest.
As for the "deadly sin" aspect-- you forgot escapism, aka better living thru chemistry. 😉
Interesting stuff, Shul.

If you have a personal planet or when your Rising sign forms an aspect with them. My Leo Rising has the trine (Mars included) with Jupiter, and I don't seem to be satisfied enough with my dealings. My Moon opposes it, and I'm really not satisfied with just only one person. This may indicate a desire for big (Jupiter) family (Moon) - it pretty much applies to me in a sense.
My Venus opposes Neptune, and adding Mars between these two, I have a T-square. You can imagine how my romantic and sexual life can be. Adding Pluto in the team (quincunx Mars, sextile Neptune, trine Venus) can make an appetite so much more powerful, LOL
Oh, I forgot to mention that my Sun forms another T-square with my Moon and Jupiter.
Hmmm... Well, my Jupiter and Neptune trine, and then Jupiter is opposite Pluto which has the generational sextile with Neptune.
Jupiter/Venus quincunx, Neptune/Venus square
Jupiter sextile Asc., Jupiter sextile Chrion, Chiron trine Asc.
Neptune sextile Asc., Neptune sextile Pluto, Pluto trine Asc.
I'm not really sure what any of that means for gluttony. Good stuff to read about.
Worst sign IMO is gemini. they seem to be constantly obsessed with food and a lot of their conversatios are about what they are eating or what they're thinking about eating.
They're the one who make "what are you eating" threads on the internet.
Pisces have the instinct of gluttony innately but prefer to control it and a lot of them have a more ascetic life
my chart says jupiter square neptune...i have no clue what that means but i am a gluton for knowledge i guess. once something has piqued my interest i get a little consumed with knowing more about it until i feel satisfied, but i think it's pretty normal. I guess that replaces gluttony for food though because i really only eat what and when i have to. i am a robot when it comes to food most of the time...i get my macros/micros in and that's it. lol
I don't know what the hell is going on, but I'm sooooo bloody damn hungry right now! The more I eat, the bigger my appetite is. That's so weird. But if my stomach was bigger, I'D PROBABLY EAT THE WHOLE COUNTRY!
Sagittarius in 6th house is also an indicator for over-eating/gluttony, btw. That's especially true in my case (I have this one).
Jupiter is transiting my 1st and I gained a few pounds just feeling high on life.
Jupiter Gemini and Neptune Sagittarius, I really am restlessness at absorbing all sorts of information.
Jupiter in 2th hungry for commuication.
Neptune in 7th hungry for work.
I want to participate in a food contest with a typical Taurus.

Jupiter(6th) Square Sun (9th/10th)
Jupiter Square Mars (4th)
Jupiter Square Uranus (10th)
Jupiter Square Neptune (10th)
...ummm. 😐
Oh... Jupiter Trine Saturn (11th)
Sagittarius - check
Taurus - check
Scorpio - check
I'm a glutton and not afraid to admit it.
I think I would eat the whole world once when Jupiter transits through my 6th house.
