The 4 levels to new DXP
1st level: no intensity; it's comical...really
1. Whorish users - those who create multiple threads a day and saturate this website with ridiculous, superficial/bubblegum topics; their threads attract and satisfy multiple users whose purpose is to fulfill their insatiable need for instant gratification; they prefer quantity over quality, and as a result, they become masters at spreading themselves too thin.
2. Class-clown users - those who willingly serve as the jesters of DXP; their peculiar sense of humor allows others to perceive them as "charming" and tolerable compared to the #3 users; they cannot be taken seriously under many circumstances. However, their opinions are only valued when they oppose the 3's and especially the 7's; they hardly engage in combat with the 6's
2nd level: moderate intensity
3. Provocative users - those who are always at the center of controversy, clamor for attention, and audaciously create threads that spread like wildfire; they are the users who secretly lack a sense of belonging, are ego-driven and only thrive in emotionally charged situations that are created by them (and their outrages or ignorance); because they are not as harmful as the 7's, they occasionally ingratiate themselves with the majority by opposing their lesser counterparts.
4. Stone-throwing users - those users who are the first to step in, and directly oppose the provocateurs using mockery or satire; they effectively attract others to join their efforts in putting down the provocateurs who cause chaos or disruption, and they gain satisfaction by being in a majority. Safety in numbers is their only approach to drama ignited by the 3's and 7's. And whether they believe it or not, cowardice is their vice.
5. Side-line users - the users who very often involve themselves in said drama (regardless of whether or not it pertains to them) by commentating on the front page, using appropriate gifs; they aim to have both relevance and validation that often comes in the form of "likes"; they are the most predictable users because they are /always/ just commentating or speaking in gifs; they've popularized the term "passive-aggressiveness," and as a result of both overuse and misuse, they've caused it to lose all its meaning.
