"0....you are basically screwed. Just kidding! This is a special degree and there is some literature out there. 0 is often considered critical and the way it manifests is said to be potent and dependent on what it aspects."

I haven't had an easy time finding this literature.

Aspects:

Sun trine Moon
Sun square Jupiter
Sun sextile Neptune
Sun conjunction Pluto, mercury and Saturn.

I mean that if your sun sign is veeery close to another sign - which would be the case at 0 degrees, wouldn't you automatically be a "cusper"?

Example: If I was born 23 dec at 0 degrees I was born close to sag. So that would make me a capricorn - sag cusper. No?

Yes.

But tt makes no sense to say "I'm a cusp at (xyz) degrees".

Agreed.

I have had huge problems when it comes to the synastry aspect of astrology. I haven't been able to identify with anything, almost, when it comes to that. I do believe that astrology can tell you a lot about a person, but when it comes to synastry...it just feels too far fetched for me atm. But I keep learning.

Something that HAS been very accurate when it comes to astrology and realtionships with other people is the cusp theory that cuspers are drawn to other cuspers. This is actually what keeps my faith up when it comes to astrology and relationships. I am a cusper and I have never had a boyfriend who hasn't been a cusper too. It was quite a jaw dropper when I found that out; that's quite a coincidence.

I also feel my personality would be more influenced by sag(I feel like a 1. cap 2. scorp 3. sag, 4. cancer), but in my chart, sag is veeery much in the background and the explanation for that might be the fact that I'm a sag-cap cusper. But idk.

cardinal signs at 0 degrees are critical degrees.

29 is anaretic.

Oooohhh... this is new to me.

Critical & Anaretic Degrees

Critical Degrees and 29 Degrees (the 29th Degree) in Astrology

Classic critical degrees are as follows:

0, 13, and 26 degrees of the cardinal signs

(Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn)

8-9 and 21-22 degrees of fixed signs

(Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius); and

4 and 17 degrees of mutable signs

(Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces).

These are considered sensitive, and sometimes strengthening,

points. If a natal planet is found in a critical degree, that

planet is thought to be emphasized and to assume more power in

the life of the native due to its placement.

Many astrologers consider 0 and 29 degrees of any sign critical

degrees as well.

** More on critical degrees: Dear Brutus - Critical degrees.

When there is a Preponderance of planets conjunct critical

degrees (four or more) in your horoscope, then you possess

a deep sense of accountability to the world at large; yet

life keeps you on a very short leash.

You soon learn that even slight deviations from the straight

and narrow path can have catastrophic consequences. You feel

compelled to do more than is necessary because you have an

acute need to justify to yourself the fact of your existence

on this earth. You tend to distrust being too happy — or at

least feel vaguely guilty about the idea — which gives you an

air of world-weariness. You...

What fresh hell is this? :/

Sorry if this deviates from OP (does it?)-- I'll be happy to move.
