Same placement as someone else

Do you know anyone who has the same planet in the same sign as you but it shows very differently.

I checked my friends chart after she made the comment "I would break off an engagement with someone if they shaved their head and didn't feel bad about it" (paraphrase). I thought that was a crazy/superficial thing to say and I'm pretty sure she wasn't joking, so I checked her chart.

Low and behold her venus is in Gemini. She has admitted she will flirt with boys to get them to help her and doesn't see what's wrong with it (the idea of it makes me feel quite uncomfortable) and that her biggest interest in marriage is the huge dramatic wedding. I am more interested in the marriage part personally. She also really likes to talk out loud about her feelings and needs constant verbal communication of others feelings. I prefer actions and intuition to words personally. The words, especially out loud, can make me a little uncomfortable.

The thing is, I have venus in Gemini too (and my moon). She seems very much the idea portrayed of what Gemini venus's are like but I never felt like I related to that and I'm not sure why. Most of her chart (and I do mean about 6 planets) are in cancer or capricorn. Maybe my Venus being in my 7th house weighs it down and makes it a little more serious but its strange how vast a difference there seems to be between us.

that's why u have to take all aspects into account.

i do share my venus in leo with a friend. however, i am a leo sun/virgo moon and he is a double cancer. i think that says enough right there!

I would look more at mercury and moon in this case.

Her moon is capricorn and mercury is cancer.

I read that your least aspected planet (especially if it only has easy aspects) can become quite prominent because there is nothing to oppose it, it flows quite easily instead of being diluted by lots of connections. And the only connections she has to her venus are a sextile to her ascendent and mars.

It's just weird to find someone with the same placement that shows it so differently

And that does make sense CancerKitten.we need to get Shaks in here on this one since he knows every damn thing.but that does make sense...although planets heavily aspected it looks like to me would be more powerful as well,so now you've peaqued my curiosity.no idea how to spell that.

I've heard it about most and least aspected. My most is jupiter and least is pluto (which may explain my obsession for scorps and sags.) My pluto in scorp is the only scorp planet I have as well and only recieves easy aspects (3 trines to personal planets and a sextile to neptune which is in my first house) and it's the only thing I have to explain why I find myself acting so like a scorpio sometimes. My Jupiter in Aries aspects everything apart from that Pluto (including my ascendent)

ive noticed that mercury in cancer people have foot in mouth syndrome. they mouth off almost as much as i do 🙂
