Sun aspecting moon. Something I noticed

Sun-moon aspect is for romance. Is the first aspect regarded in astrology. It's considered ideal man's sun in aspect with woman's moon.
Well that's what people say but I've never seen it happen. I see it in platonic friendships, deep loving friendships quite often but not in couples.
And I am most often more attracted to and feel more comfortable with people who have their sun aspecting my sun but not their sun aspecting my moon. And I'm a cancerian so the moo should be important. And it's in my 7th house.

However, I have found this seems more true for friendships than romance. I've met many people who have these favourable aspects with their friends but when it comes to relationships (lasting or not) it seems that they have one's sun aspecting the other's sun and one's moon aspecting the others moon.
e.g Man's moon in Taurus opposed Woman's moon in Scorpio and Man's sun in Libra sextile Woman's sun in Sagittarius.
Has anyone else seen a similar trend?
It seems that the easy flow of moon aspecting sun creaes more friendship than attraction
