Oh, cheers for the technique. I was just about to complain that I'd just woken up. I didn't actually know you could do that on astro.com. I see you're going the classical astrology route.
Yep, in the extended chart selection--after entering birth data if you don't have an account to log into--there's a tan looking options section. The box that says "Reduce/increase orbs (0 - 150% )" is where to look.
This is one point where I definitely agree with traditional astro. I see the most exacting aspects as being the building blocks for the individual personality, like the sugar-phosphate backbone of DNA.

I've gotten into the habit of always using astro.com so I've forgotten how other sites format their charts, but on that site they have a table for aspects beneath the drawn chart. After orbs are reset that table will look blank at first. Gradually as orbs are increased aspects will begin to reappear. The first five will be the tightest ones.
Man... can I please get an escape from pluto possibly?

I had to increase mine to as much as 50% just to get the aspects. I don't know if that's normal.

I have a ton of inconjunct aspects that are under 1 degree off though.

Mars/Uranus aspects I know nothing about, but that's the tightest one so I'll read up on it later.

I have that apparently but the orb is like almost 10 degrees off so I don't get why it's included.
Astro.com seems a little arbitrary in what they show in charts, aspect wise.
What it calculates is pretty sensitive to the options selected, particularly whether or not someone has "aspect lines to all" checked off in the list. I'm not sure why.

There's a pyramid type table that's supposed to appear beneath the circular chart. Aspects should be listed there.
Triangle symbols are trines. Asterisks are sextiles. Squares are squares. The mark that looks like a little like a Mars symbol is a conjunction, and the one that's like o-o is an opposition.

Ok Tmv now I see the symbols but cannot read between what signs they are.
At 2 degrees I get an opposition and I don't see where it is. It that 0-0 next to an A with a 0 degree next to it.

The chart doesn't draw all aspect lines unless specifically directed to do so, so it might not visually appear in the circular chart. You can find which planets are involved with the aspect though by following the grid lines in the pyramid chart.
If it shows a 0 in the box for the aspect that means your opposition has an orb of 0?? or less. The orb percentage being entered in the options isn't 1% for 1??. I've figured that 1?? is actually about 10% orb size.

The sesquiquadrate is a 135?? aspect—a square and a half—with a 2-3?? orb. An easy way to find it is to look for a trine (120??) and add 15.

Yes.... All that bottom stuff is astroids and ascendent aspects... not planets.
And both moon trine neptune and saturn conjunct uranus is shown by lines in your chart...

That orb size is showing a:
Sun/Neptune trine
Saturn/Uranus conjunction
Jupiter/Ascendant opposition
Saturn/Midheaven square
Moon/Jupiter semi-square
Moon/Ascendant sesquiquadrate
the saturn/uranus is generational, so we dismiss that, right?

In sagittarius there is a little curled line blip between saturn and Uranus. Just look its not going to be some big ass line across the whole chart like some others would be because its a conjuction.

Yes. Everything in a chart has a function and purpose. I never throw working parts away.
But when it comes down to individual personality I look towards more personalized aspects whereas those between outer planets have more to do with the collective.

Theoretically an aspect becomes stronger the tighter an orb it has. Keeping with that idea the top five aspects in a chart will be those with the most exact orbs.
For the purpose of this thread I'm only considering the primary aspects: conjunction, square, opposition, sextile, and trine. These should also be limited to planets rather than asteroids, angles, or theoretical points. Aspects between personal planets should be given more weight more than generational ones formed among the outer astral bodies.
If you don't already know what yours are and, like myself, are too lazy to do the math, a super easy way to figure it out is to pull up your chart on astro.com. Reduce orb size to 1% to begin with and increase by a percentage point until you have all five. You may or may not start to see results until 5 - 8% so don't panic if there's nothing to be found right away.
