What's up with attracting so many Air signs? *sigh*

I can't anymore. I stopped for a moment and realized that pretty much most of my friends or people with whom I have had a relationship are air signs or either way have a strong air influence in their charts.

Thing is I don't feel comfortable with them, or better, I do until we get on that stage of going deeper into things, of being more "intimate"... It becomes really annoying. Sometimes I feel drained, or like I'm not going anywhere. They're perpetually detached and a lot of them tend to be prudish (Aquas I see ya). This doesn't really sit well with me.

My 3 exes all had Venus in Aqua. I love it because I also like to be friends with my lover first, but their detachment and elusiveness can be hard to deal with for me.

I have sun, moon and mercury in Libra and this might be the reason, but I also feel so much the influence of my Venus in Scorpio that sometimes I feel more of a Scorpio than a Libra, if it wasn't for my friendliness and views on the world. Not to mention the fact that I literally spent my whole life thinking I was a Scorpio until I got into astrology... but that's another story.

Do you think that realizing you want to stop attracting a certain type of people and instead start attracting something else, could help? Because I know for now that I feel way more comfortable with my water or earth signs friends and that's roughly the kind of people I want close to me.

I said that at the beginning I might like their friendliness because I myself am like that, but that's just it. Friendliness and cold politeness. You want to talk about some deep shit and they already fly away with their minds.

i feel your pain - all of my old friends use to be scorpios and they were honestly a blessing i loved them so much.

my friends now are all geminis and libras and i guess the connection comes from my chart being dominated by air. sounds awful to say this but i could lose their friendship today and not give a rats butt honestly.

i do feel drained after talking with them 😢 i have a pisces sun so connection w water signs is instant like that but i really have to work to understand air signs.

I like what I attract. lol I've no complaints at all. heehee. 😆

When you have only one type of option it's hard to say that it's what you choose which matters. Last year the two guys who were after me were... Aquas.

Caps with Aqua venus have their bad side as well hun, among those qualities you mention. But anyway it just hit me that all the three of them had the same Venus placement, which happens to be an air sign.

Unfortunately you can't choose who you attract. You can only decide not to date them. Aqua venus with a feminine venus sign is a terrible combination in my experience. We think we're being warm as shit. But our warmth feels more like an Autumn day than a Summer afternoon. I think only another masculine venus sign can really appreciate our style of affection.

Break your dating pattern. Try dating someone who isn't traditionally your type. Try a cancer or a leo.

In terms of friends, some people are best left as acquaintences. When you find people who make you feel alive, surround yourself with thise people.

Now that I realized there is a pattern, I'll defo try to break free.

I love Cancer. Leo seems to be good too if their egocentric ways aren't really pronounced. I have a Leo professor who always likes to talk about himself and I want to stab him lol

Agree with everything. I have a Gemini friend with whom I spent most of my day while at uni because we take the same train. It's been a year and our relationship is as it was the first week we became 'friends'.
