Why are houses important in astrology? What do they tell ?

I am quite into astrology but only understand the placements such as sun in this sign moon in this sign I never understand what significance houses hold in a chart or what difference houses make let alone degrees lol for example I can give my guy chart for you to shed light on what does houses reveal.

Sun: Capricorn 1st house
Moon: Scorpio 11th house
Mercury: Capricorn 1st house
venus: Capricorn 1st house
Mars: Scorpio 11th house
Jupiter: Aquarius 2nd house
Saturn: Sagittarius 12 house
uranus: Sagittarius 12 house
neptune: Capricorn 1st house

1st house: Sagittarius
2nd house: Capricorn
3rd house: Pisces
4th house: Aries
5th house: Taurus
6th house: Gemini
7th house: Gemini

cafe astrology doesn't recognize our place of birth correctly like I have a Capricorn moon but cafe astrology shows Aquarius moon. I found astro.com to be the most accurate calculator

Meaning I'm rea;;y a nice guy and I've learned throughout my life that people really like to leech off someone who they consider weak.. my cancer asc makes me outwardly shy in real life and quiet. I also have aplacements that makes me more forgiving by nature. I've gave many riends and exes infinite amount of chances because i remember how nice they were or i just know if i was in their shoes, i'd want someone to give me a clean slate.. I've dug so deep, damn near ruined my life trying to understand females.. I've had to learn about abd stoop to levels so low and go out of my character just to understand why I wasgetting the short end of the stick.. In regards to my chart, i have a lot of water which makes me sensitive or insensittive to people's emotions.. i just look at my chart and i see the word 'martyrdom' written all over it..smh fuck

Lol not all females are alike all are different it seems you had a bad luck of meeting those who didn't deserve you.

well if you look at a very happy harmonious couple thing, even if the sun signs don't trine, conjunct ect whatever.

as long as the synastry is awesome and the energies are similar. IF they have dominant houses that are similar it's gonna be harmonious.

like this couple. Giselle Bundchen and Tom Brady, Cancer sun/Scorpio moon with Leo sun/Aries moon.

with those two sun/moon combo it's not gonna work right? but they are BOTH libra dominant,

both 10th house dominant.

Each house defines a part of your life - starting with yourself (the body/the ego/the identity) - as defined by the 1st house (the ASC). Without the exact time of birth - so that all houses can be displayed correctly, the planets in signs and the aspects aspects - can show only half of the puzzle. Depending on - where the planets fall, some parts of your life - as defined by a given house (the ones - that have planets in them) - can be more meaningful for you - compared to others.

Above chart for example: shows an individuals who puts a lot of accent on his/her image - and it shows... very charming individual - one with a strong presence (those around him/her might notice him/her right away). He's probably obsessed with power - with a career where he can be in a position of power... He has a huge ego and thinks quite highly of himself - which, might be for the right reason - his either rich or quite capable of proving his worth. On the other hand, working for a living - some job where he serves others... that's his biggest weakens (his wound - if you will), even though - he might be quite good at advising others (when it comes to a job - or a workplace). Another scary part and quite depressing - can be related to loneliness... if he's to spend some time in solitude - that's something that might depress him - might drive him nuts... something he might avoid - by spending his time with friends and so on..
